My 2 MOH's were a no brainer - 1 is my sister from another mister. We met in college and dont live close to eachother but in some strange way we are attached to the hip. She got me through alot of things and the other is the girl who helped me meet FH.
The rest are my cousin, FSIL and other close friends that i have either been in their weddings or will be in their wedding People who I see on the regular and couldnt imagine not having them there

My MOH is my only sister (and only sibling) so that was super easy. We are very close! The rest of my BP is FHs sister, two of my bfs from high school and my bf from college. They have all been so excited and helpful. It helps that my entire BP is already married and knows how things should go

We kept it nice and simple and are just having family. My MOH is my SIL, and for BM's I am having my 2 FSIL's. I don't have any sisters or female cousins, and I don't feel super close with my friends from HS or college anymore. Hopefully having a small BP with just family with keep it drama free!

For Bridesmaids, I am having my 2 sisters and my 2 FSIL's. I not only wanted to keep it simple, but I really only wanted people in my wedding that were important to me at this point in my life. Not old friends from HS that I barely speak to anymore, or people I just met....I really wanted people I knew would never go anywhere
Then for MOH, that was easy. Sometimes we fight like cats and dogs....but honestly, it's like the most awesome dysfuncional relationship ever and she has honestly been my best friend since the day we met. She had enough sence to introduce me to my FH, and she knew we would be right for each other. And no matter how much we may argue...she has always come through for me when I needed her to.

My MOH is my little sister. My 5 bridesmaids are my two older sisters, my FSIL, my best friend since I was four, and my best friend from college. Picking my bridal party was a VERY easy decision.

my 2 MOHs were easy... My Matron of Honor I have been BF's with for the past 24 years (jesus!) and we both always knew we'd be each other's MOH (I was MOH in her wedding in 2008). My Maid of Honor, I have been BF's going on 10 years now and crazy enough about 5 years ago we found out we are actually like 5th cousins! (it really explained a lot LOL).
My other 3 BMs are my 2 1st cousins who I love and adore and FH's sister.
When we set out to pick our BP we knew we wanted to keep it relatively small (didn't want to go over 5 on each side) and we want to keep it to family. FH's BM is his brother and the other 3 GMs might as well be his brothers because they have been very close friends for years!

My MOH is the 'planner' out of my friends from H.S. She usually organizes people's birthdays, get togethers, etc and she enjoys it. I thought she'd do a great job planning a shower, etc and I think her taste is closest to mine in that circle of friends. I thought that was important since I will be turning to her for feedback on dresses, flowers, etc.
Two of my Bm's are my closest friends from college. The third is a sister of one of the BM's. But she's only one year younger so she hung out with us all the time, spring breaks together, etc. They all live together now in D.C and they are so much fun and silly. They were the first girls I called to tell them I was engaged and they were sooo excited and happy for us. They are so good to FH and me and really make the effort to stay close even if they are out of state.

Well my MOH's are my two sisters. One of my BM's is FH's sister and my other three BM's are elementary school and jr. HS friends! so it was pretty easy

I've known who my MOH was going to be since I was a little girl. I have no sisters and most of my cousins are boys but me and my cousin Nicole grew up together and we're only 5 months apart. We went to the same HS and she's my best friend.
As for bm's...I wanted FH to have my 4 bros as gms so in return I put his 4 girl cousins in as bms. My bff Jen is in the wedding party and so is my close friend Crissy (she's getting married 8/7/11 and I'm in her wedding too!). I couldn't leave the other 3 girl cousins out so they are all in it too! Lastly, my flower girl Cailey is the only little girl in either family. She lives in California and I miss her!! She calls me all the time and tells me to come visit

My MOH is my sister <3 My bridesmaids I knew who they would be before I even got engaged! I have my Best Friends, FH's Sister, and My Cousins it was funny cause I didnt ask my best friends I just said your my BM LoL they said 'I know'

Very easy choices. I knew i wanted a small BP. SO my MOH is my sister (only 1 sis); my two BM are my best friend from college; and FH best female friend who he calls his sister.

Easy. My MOH is my BF since we are 4 years old, we met in dance school and live 7 houses away from each other. My other BM's are close friends from my childhood, one is my cousin, and my other 2 BM's are FSIL's. I'm going to have 6 all together.

I have a very small BP - A MOH and A Man of Honor.
The Matron of Honor is my best friend since birth literally (our parents were best friends). I was the MOH in her wedding several years ago and she is the only person I could ever imagine in that position for me. She's in NY so she isn't able to help me with much physically, but she is there for me on every phone call and question. Love her!
The Man of Honor is my brother and that came about in a different way. I originally was going to ask my brother to walk me halfway down the aisle and my dad the rest of the way. Upon thinking about this I realized that it wouldn't be fair to my dad, but I really wanted my brother involved somehow. So I asked him to be my Man of Honor. His first question was 'what is that?' and then he said, of course! He's my little brother and has been in the Navy for the last 5 years. I miss him terribly and we are very close. I can't wait to have him there too.

well i was married before and I learned the hard way.
This time I decided no drama and to have just a MOH and a best man.
Even worse, I didn't even do it in a special way. AI just said, 'you know you have to be my MOH. I can't get through this without you.'
she laughed and said, 'yes..yes you can..lots of alcohol.'
lol
btw her one and only job is to to handle my mother. that's it.

It was a no brainer for me! My MOH if my best friend for 15 years. the other BMs are 3 cousins, 1 FSIL, 2 friends - one of which introduced me to my fiance and the other is my closest friend from college!

My MOH is my little sister she is the one and only sibbling I have so that was an automatic.
My BM are my FSIL whom I love to death, and my 2 closests girl cousins.
I kept it family because they are so supportative and helpful and I didnt want friends since they seem to give everyone issues with planning.
