I think my FH has done enough lol. I mean, I recieved the most beautiful e-ring ever, he does so much for me and he always out does the whole gift giving thing. I would never expect a gift from him. Just for him to show up on our wedding day is a gift to me!

i don't even know if FH knows about getting me a gift or has thought about it at all and i don't really expect anything from him. He does alot for me all the time and for the wedding is paying for alot of it. i know that i am going to blow his mind with my gift, so i really don't expect anything, I just want him

I don't expect a gift...FH doesn't have tons of forethought when it comes to these sorts of things. I'll probably buy him a nice dress watch and have it engraved with something cheesy like 'Its about time' and the wedding date or something

I do not expect a gift at all. FH is so good to me, and treats me like gold, and is paying for most of this wedding, and taking me on a honeymoon to die for. They way I look at it, him becoming my husband is a gift

i dont expect anything. but i did mention to FH that we should exchange something morning of the wedding (have our GM/MOH help with the exchanges). i dont know what/if ill get him. probably not much for that morning. but i will probably write him something sentimental -- especially if we choose NOT to do our own vows at the wedding (NERVES!!!)....

so i guess that is what i would like. a little memento i can frame or something.

but of course, i would also LOVE some DOJ from him tooooo. the good stuff, of course

ETA: or maybe an anklet. ive always wanted one, but would never spend my own $ for a nice one. haha

FH & I aren't exchanging wedding gifts. we are buying each others wedding bands so i guess that will be the gift.

to be honest i never knew about purchasing each other gifts until i started chatting on liw. no one in my family or friends have done this.

Same here. We will be spending money on the apartment so gifts for the day of the wedding aren't really practical for us. I wouldn't want him to spend too much money on a gift for me anyway; times are hard.

I cant really think of anything I really want. I'd almost rather he save the money for spending money on the honeymoon.

FH wants a Breitling and that is what he will get.... as for me, i want a nice jewelery set. FH said that there is no pressure to buy this for the wedding since we are working our arses off to pay for it so it i can do it before great but if we give the gifts after that is great too...

I don't think my FH even knows about wedding gifts. LOL.

I am not expecting a wedding gift, and I don't really want one. I am so weird... I ask FH to seriously not get my presents for birthdays or Christmas, etc. Unless there is something I really want, I hate getting gifts. HOWEVER, in a fantasy world, I would love one of those pure diamond cuff bracelets that the brides get on Platinum Weddings.

I also never heard of exchanging gifts until I joined LIW. We're not going to be exchanging gifts; we're both contributing to the wedding and honeymoon so spending more money is kind of out of the question.

we spoke about gifts and told him i don't want nothing. he already paid for our vacation to vegas in aug. and he bought me the open heart necklace from kays. so to be honest i don't want nothing

I want nothing more than for FH to agree to go on a honeymoon that is at least 10 days. I really really REALLY want an extended vacation, and he's got weird hangups about being away for so long (even though he's never done it).

He spent more than enough on my e-ring, and over the past 7 years I have every piece of jewelry i want from him already lol. The diamond studs finally came this past christmas!!

Same here. I'd like him to write me a letter or something for that morning, but I'm definitely not expecting a gift--we're paying for everything ourselves, so it's like the whole wedding is our gift to each other!
