Good morning ladies The QOTD is what 'brides gift' would you want FH to get you? Personal, practical, over the top? Which would make you really happy?
Well my answer to this is something sentimental - for christmas 2 years ago FH got me this platinum & diamond locket which looks very antique - his reason for giving it to me was so i could wear a picture of our daughter always & could pass it down to our daughter later on in life which i thought was so nice & romantic & sentimental. So i guess for wedding - something romantic and sentimental i dont have anything in mind but im sure hell do great!

I know that my FH has something in mind. . . . he has mentioned 'a wedding gift' a few times I would like him to get me diamond stud earrings or a diamond bracelet – something that I could wear on our wedding day ad for years to come

I told FH I would love either new diamond earrings or a diamond tennis bracelet....I doubt either one will happen, I have expensive taste!

I never really thought about this. Maybe a nice piece of jewelry or something since he NEVER buys me jewelry. Before my e-ring, he hadn't bought me jewelry in over 2 years. He'd rather buy me electronics.
I did tell him that this year for my birthday he could buy me my day of earrings though

It's not so much a 'gift' to me that I want...so let me explain.
In all of the wedding planning, I am incorporating secret little touches for FH. His grooms cake is gonna be a chocolate lab wearing a Red Sox hat, I am getting his favorite beer specially for the RH, I am getting him custom photo cuff links of his dad, and lots of other little things.
In all honestly, I'd love it FH secretly incorporated one of my favorite things, bumblebees, into something for me, like putting one on the cake, or something like that.
But he'd never have the forethought to do something like that...Ashley and Theresa, start dropping hints

my whole life I dreamed about diamond studs. FH obsessed with getting me them. I don't think financially we/him can afford to, so I guess whatever he gets me is fine. maybe to paint me another painting, actually he will have to do that no matter what I on the other hand, have no clue what to get him.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY want a pair of stud earrings to match my ering...They make them and they match perfect (same size, same stones, everything!!) I saw them the other day and I wanted to get them so bad but he wouldnt let me, so I am hoping that he is planning on getting those for me for my gift the morning of the wedding (I got him an awesome gift so I want something awesome too lol [spoiled bridezilla moment oops])

FH & I aren't exchanging wedding gifts. we are buying each others wedding bands so i guess that will be the gift.
to be honest i never knew about purchasing each other gifts until i started chatting on liw. no one in my family or friends have done this.

i think if i had my choice i would want a piece of jewlery, lol...not just because its jewlery but its something to wear on our wedding day and will also be sentimental for years to come.

hmmm.... Id really love for him to plan something ultra romantic and lavish for our HM we are going to Sandals so basically all the 'essentials' are covered but I would love for him to shock me with something while we are away... aaaaannnd if he wanted to incorporate diamond studs into this romantic lavish fantasy I would be ok with that too!

as of right nowim not getting anything lol nor do i expect to. we finally picked out my ering. well he just bought the stone (the setting has to be custom made) and he went over his budget almost 3 times for JUST the center stone. i dont want or expect anything from him for our wedding. he already went above and beyond.
after everythign is done, ill prob get him a rolex.
