QOTD 6/7/08

Hey girls! So sorry it is super late in the day to be posting the question of the day. My sis is in town from LI and we went to the beach for the whole day and then out to dinner. Such an awesome day. I hope you don't feel I shirked my BOTW responsibilities!!


QOTD: For the girls who are getting married in the spring and summer what do you think you will do to prevent tan lines for your wedding day??


Also, since I feel guilty that I am so late, here is a second bonus question: What one food item are you really looking forward to enjoying at your Reception?

Well our wedding is a winter wedding so no tan lines for me, but I will be going to the tanning bed for about 2 months before the big day!


Second, I am VERY much looking forward to the lamb chop appetizers at the CH and horseradish crusted chicken for the dinner!!!!!!!!!!

im a may bride, but no tan lines for me b/c i dont do the tanning thing-i do the 'spf me up so much that im pasty' haha i use tanning moisturizing lotion but even that i barely use, so no worries.

food wise....oh god im looking forward to everything!!!!

im getting married in the fall but i'll go tanning before so i'm not pasty.

the food i'm looking forward to most is the cheesecake bar for dessert!

I would probably go to the tanning salon a moth before and do it naked. ha ha. no tan lines then.

The food I am most looking foward to is the fried califlower appitizer. Yummy.

I will try to stay out of the extreme sun and tuck in my straps if I am wearing a bathing suit. Sunblock and maybe just Jergen's Natural Glow or something similar. I have thought about this a lot and just want to be careful. I hope my BMs are careful too!

As far as food goes, I haven't picked out my menu yet and there are so many things to choose from. I don't even remember half of the selections. Have to get back to you on this.

I'm def going to get some of those bandeau bikinis to prevent tanlines, or take down my straps and hope a swift wind doesn't pass by

As for food, theres a whole list I'm looking forward too...when I go over the menu I see myself gaining 20lbs!

i'll def end up hitting the tanning salon and spending a lot of time w/ my bathing suit straps down at the beach.

food--i'm going to try a raw oyster for the first time in my life (unless i get to it before then) because we're getting the raw bar for CH, and i refuse to miss out.

i'm going to try to stay out of the sun the last 2 months before my wedding. i burn so easily.

i'm looking forward to the mashed potato bar at the CH and the reception i'm looking forward to our wedding cake.

Food- Chocolate fountain!!!!! and any of the seafood

As far as tan lines....pull down the straps.

Most of the time when I'm outside I remember to untie my bathing suit straps so I should be ok!

Umm is it bad that I'm really excited about the cake? Haha

well i plan to tan like crazy before my wedding... if at the tan salon im going al natural to prevent lines If at the beach etc I will tuck straps in... i do that now i hate tan lines as it is lol

Im not a spring/summer bride but since im in Feb this summer should be super careful on getting tan lines & im totally getting spray tanned (just a nice light glow) for my wedding!

Im looking forward to all the food at my wedding my menu is OFF THE HOOK! lol
