I always wished it was during our Halloween parties, becuz its myf av day ever and we through huge parties every year, but he always said NO to that day.
I knew about the ring, so i thought it was valentines and told my BF so she called him and said DONT DO IT on that day, so he gave it to me 10 days before on my bday and i was shocked becuz i was ready for VDAY for it.. so it caught me off guard

A couple of times:
The first was silly, it was Easter of last year and we had only been dating a few months, but had already talked about getting married, etc. He told me that the Easter Bunny brought me something early and to go and find it. I thought to myself, is this really it??? It was a beautiful Tiffany heart and key necklace.
The 2nd was my birthday in Sept. He had done all of these romantic things leading up to dinner, and I thought that that was going to be it. It wasn't. But everything he did that night was a build up to Oct when the actual proposal took place.
Everyone thought that he was going to propose on the trip, I didn't think he was cause we hadn't gone looking at rings or anything. I was wrong...obviously!

nope, not me! friends of ours got engaged in october, and when i was being a little baby and complaining that we weren't engaged yet he never let on to the fact that my ring was being made at that time lol. i had NO IDEA what he was planning- he caught me completely off guard!! i had actually written an email to my friend the day before saying 'i've come to terms with the fact that i'm not getting engaged anytime soon' lol...little did i know the very next day i'd have a ring on my finger!!

I thought i was going to get proposed to every holiday and vacation since 2007 especially when we were in Disney world during the fireworks shows, and even more so when i went away in 08 for my 25 birthday we went to Vegas , i was positive he was going to do it then because he knew how upset i was to turn 25 . we even took a romantic gondola ride at the Venetian !
Wow I can't even imagine thinking that for almost 3 years. Must have taken a lot of patience!

For a split second I thought maybe hed do it on our trip to mexico but I quickly dismissed that idea. Lo and behold he proposed!!! I was pretty shocked

I thought he was going to propose on my 25th birthday 2 years ago. We were in atlantic city for the weekend and it was a beautiful care-free week. I was on cloud nine because he had been telling me he had gotten me something really nice. But to my surprise, no ring... I was mad, but more at myself for letting myself get worked up like that...

Never thought FH was going to propose before he did..I thought we were going to get engaged the following year so it was a complete surprise

We went on a cruise in september and figured it was going to happen while we were on one of the islands and It didnt....so i was disapointed it didnt happen. Our last night on the boat he did it during dinner...my FH is very shy so I never thought he would do it with people around ...but he did and I was shocked but pissed that he made me wait until the last night..

I kind of thought he was going to do it if we went to disney a few weeks before Christmas,...and he didn't do it, nor did we go to disney while in Florida, and I was so disappinted that we didn't ..but then we got engaged Christmas Day and I understood why we didn't go! lol

Yes!!! probably about a year b4 he actually did propose he was talking about marriage and hinting that something is going to happen b4 the new year.....I really thought he was going to not this past new years the new years b4 it, i dont know y but i was so upset after the new year i didn't even kiss him, but honestly i wasn't even ready to get engaged then, but the fact that he wasn hinting at it and got my hopes up
