HAPPY JULY - There are going to be a lot of brides hitting their year mark this month, including me!
Is there someone that you wish could be at your wedding?
I wish my “gram” (my grandma) could be at our wedding more then anything. She passed away 2 years ago and I think about here everyday – I am going to be wearing her engagement ring and wedding band on my right hand as my something old – I know that she will be looking over me that day!

All of my grandparents are gone, and FH's Nana passed away a couple of years ago.
I would do anything to have them be at the wedding.

My older brother passed away in '03. I would literally give up ANYTHING in the world for him to be there physically but I know that he will be there in spirit!!! Also my Gamy, she is my heart and lives in FL, (I have pictures of her in my album) the trip would be too hard on her
For FH, it would be his maternal grandparents, he is the man he is today b/c of them...

I wish my Uncle Joe could be there. He passed away about 10 years ago. He was one of the greatest people I've ever met. He was into photography as a hobby so he would be all around that wedding with camera in hand!

There are a few...my two grandmas and my aunt. One grandma passed away in May, the other in 2004. My aunt passed away in 2005.
This past weekend FH and I were finalizing our guests lists and he said 'are we missing anyone?' and I said 'yeah, my Aunt Pat' and we both just looked at each other for a second and I was like...oh yeah..
ETA: One of FH's uncles, who is still alive, but due to political reasons he may not be able to travel out of Bangladesh for the wedding. But we take comfort in knowing that we can at least share photos with him!

All of our grandparents, my dad, my nanny (who raised me from a little tike up passed away a few months ago), all of my close friends from California (cause even if we have another reception out there, it isn't like your wedding day)

I wish my Aunt Carrie who died two years ago could see me walk down the aisle. It bothers me everyday that she will not be there.

I wish my aunt who passed away a couple of years ago from Lung Cancer was present. She was a very special person to me. And my grandparents from my father side. They are the only living grandparents I have. My grandfather is almost 100 years old and my grandmother is about 88 years old. They are to old to travel to the U.S. I wish they would come, but physically they can't. I am hoping they still have good health by then so I can send them pictures. I hope I get a chance to see them before they pass.
