HAPPY JULY - There are going to be a lot of brides hitting their year mark this month, including me!
Is there someone that you wish could be at your wedding?
I wish my “gram” (my grandma) could be at our wedding more then anything. She passed away 2 years ago and I think about here everyday – I am going to be wearing her engagement ring and wedding band on my right hand as my something old – I know that she will be looking over me that day!

My dad. I was such a daddy's girl. Whenever I think about the wedding I get sad when I realize he won't be there. He would have LOVED this moment. I'll be doing a memorial candle for him and FHs maternal grandparents.
Living: If Johnny Depp could come, that would be screaming awesome.

My grandpa was my bff. I used to have dinner with him every Sunday when I was in college. (And he would always give me $100, which didn't hurt .) I would love for my grandpa to be there and both of my grandmas, my aunt and my cousin who all passed away.

Re: QOTD 7.1.2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Two people I wish would be there are my grandpa who I was very close to and he died in 2003... and the real shocking one is my friend Amy who was my best friend for a really long time and she died almost 1 month ago. I actually removed her and her guest from my guest list a couple of days after she died because I didn't want to open up the guest list in a few months and see her name there and feel it all over again. I still can't believe she isn't going to be there but haven't figured out a good way to memorialize her yet without getting sad.

Re: QOTD 7.1.2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I miss my grandparents so much so I wish they could come.
BUT...
FH's mom is crazy and has decided that she will not come to the wedding unless it is ok to make a scene while she yells at FStepMom (her words not mine). I wish she could just be normal for a day so that FH could have his mom and dad walk him down. It would mean the world to him.

My grandma and Grandpa (mom's parents). They were my heart. My grandma died last year. I still remember being in churchthe morning she died and saying how I can't wait until I gave birth so I could go to Jamaica and let her meet the baby. I was 7.5 months when she died but Thank God I was able to make the funeral. I am getting married on what would have been my grandpa's b-day 6-12-10. I will have memory candles and pics of them.
