When FH proposed were you in complete shock or did you know it was coming??? And if this question wasn't already asked how did he propose and how did you react?

For me I was in complete shock I had NO clue I was @ his families house it was Xmas eve Fh told me he had to go pick up his brother b/c he was fighting with his wife(complete lie) I thought nothing of it i said OK. My mind wasnt even thinking of where he was b/c we were all sharing gifts and chit chatting. Then my Fh calls me he says you have to come outside theres a dancing santa so I look and I see this santa dancing and stumbling down the street but he was next to my truck which was running n I thought my FH was is in it. I go outside and im looking at the santa Im like is that Stephen? The Xmas music was blasting and he walked up to me in the middle of the driveway got down on one knee and asked me to marry him my reaction I screamed SHUT UP and then of course said yes. It was perfect there was snow on the ground and my family was hiding behind a car 2 houses down and his family was there too. Ahh I wish we could do it again
Well we got engaged in Atlantic City on 4th of July. It was just the 2 of us in the room so we had no pictures of the actual engagement but we took lots of pics on the boardwalk and hotel afterwards. Unfortunetly we lost our camera in AC so all my pictures are gone

Rather than type it all, I'll just link to the article. LOL
Even though we knew we were getting married and I picked out the ring, I still had NO clue!
FH and I went to his jeweler once to have his jewelery cleaned and looked at e-rings while we were there (just for the hell of it)He pointed out the most gorgeous ring ive ever seen..completely different then what i thought i wanted , but never thought he already ordered it!!
Maybe 5 days later we were annoyed with our friends and he said 'why dont we go to dinner just me and you tonight instead of doing anything with our friends'. He took me to the resturant we went to on v-day the year before. Before we even got our menus the maitreD was walking towards me with a ring and fh was down on one knee beside me!! I WAS SHOCKED. The whole resturant went NUTS!! People were screaming clapping going crazy!!! I was hysterical in front of 100's of people. One couple bought us our desert, one sent wine, and one covered the entire check! SCORE! FH said we should get engaged in a resturant every weekend!! I mentioned one time that I want our engagement videotaped, so he had a friend there hiding and videotaping it! I dont have pictures of the actual moment, just right after. You know men they dont think of everything lol!!
FH and I were in Ireland in March and had spent the day sightseeing. It was prob my favorite day that we had had so far and then we went back to our little B&B and I told FH that I was going to take a shower before we went out to dinner. So I go in the bathroom and turn on the water and basically get ready to step in...and I hear FH calling me from the other room, like 'Honey, can you come back out here for a second?' So...I'll be honest, I was SO annoyed!! I was like, 'Can't it wait 5 minutes?!' and he said no. So, I throw my clothes back on and throw the door open, totally annoyed. And there he is leaning up against the door with his hands behind his back. I still didn't know what he wanted...and he called me over and looked at me, and then I just knew. He said some really nice things but I really can't even remember his speech because I was internally freaking out! So finally, he asked if I would do him the honor of being his wife and I shouted 'REALLY?!!?!' about 8778435987346 times.
We obviously don't have any pics because we were alone at the time...but we went to dinner later that night with my MOH and FBIL and they got engaged too (I'll let Kedra5 tell you that story herself!!!) and we took a bunch of pics of each other haha
BTW - Jenny....your story was awesome! It made me smile to read

I don't have a picture. I kinda had a feeling FH was going to propose. A few days before we got engaged fh sold his car. I was at work so I called him later on to see if he had sold it. As he was talknig to me I hear noises in the background. FH lives in a basement apartment so I asked where are you. He told me down worry about it and then he said im getting your Christmas gift and it cost me a lot of money. Then he asked when are we going to the city to see the tree and i went through all the days we were busy and he says can we just go Friday. I said fine and he's like wear something nice we'll go to dinner afterwards. I said fine. So Im thinking were getting engaged. Then the next day he got aggrevated with me and we had a small fight so I was thinking maybe were not. The next day was friday- so he calls me when he home from work and says where are you, I said I just got my nails done and that I had to go home and shower and change. he told me to hurry up. I get to his apartment later and hes getting dresses and I can tell his nervous and he rambling. So we leave for the city. We get to the tree and its really crowded I take a few pictures and he says give me a hug and when I pulled bakc he had the ring out and asked me to marry him.

um yea twins again..FH knows I love pictures and videos lol (video is on my FB but is kind of cut off) lol my sis was on delay..lol
Anyway, FH knows how close I am with my family and he wanted both of ours there. So on Christmas Day as we were exchanging with my cousins and his nieces he had his niece Gabriella give me a 'special gift' the top fell off as I went to open it and it was an ornament with our names and from this day forward marry me! I could cry again just thinking about it lol I knew he knew I loved Christmas but I really didn't expect it until the next year..so at that moment I was in shock! his sister got the whole thing on the video camera though so we do have it. I loved it all!!
i kinda had a feeling it was coming since we had been together for more than 6 years and had been talking about getting married for a while...
I had been telling Rosario how I wanted to go to the City and see the Tree at Rockefeller Center for a while. I mean there is nothing like NYC around holiday time. So that night Rosario made plans for us to go see the tree, go ice skating and then go have dinner at Bobby Flays Mesa Grill. Well me being me it took to long for me to get ready so we missed ice skating. When we finally got there another couple had gotten engaged on the ice.. I was saying how cute that was and I was in awe of that lucky girl. Little did i know when I turned around Rosario was on one knee with the ring in his hand and he asked me to Marry him. After a few tears of joy fell down my face I SAID YES!!!
I have no pics since it was just the 2 of us but ill never forget that moment!!!!!

I have no picture but I did think it was coming, He took me to our favorite make out spot and he proposed there. It was very sweet. He said he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. It was beautiful.
