Hello Ladies! I just wanted to let you know that I will be Heading to MA for a family reunion (tonight), so my next few QOTD’s may not as early, since their is NO internet access at my grandparents house in the mountains!
What do you think about drinking at the wedding?
On the last episode of BRIDEZILLA, the bride was so drunk!!! She was getting sick in the bathroom and missed her reception! Yuck!
My FH and I don’t believe in getting drunk at our own wedding. I can totally see how it can happen with nerves and all! We want to be able to remember what we can because we know that the day is going to fly by. Plus, We want to be able to party at our after party! The groomsmen men are another story – I am hoping that they are sober enough to get some good pictures!
EDIT: we are going to have a few drinks, but not to get drunk!

I will probably have a few drinks, but I certainly don't plan to get drunk. The last thing I want to do is look like an a$$ stumbling around in my gown
FH says he's spending the whole night at the bar with his GM's. That's what he says......but he knows better

I will also have a few drinks-but i know my limit (After YEARS of not-LOL)...I also threatened FH that he better not even THINK of having a drink before the ceremony. The first drink we're going to have is in the Bentley on the way to the RH...

we will definitely drink but watch it closely so we don't go overboard! i saw that episode of bridezillas...it was awful.

i will drink but not as much. not because i dont want to get drunk in front of our guest but because i dont want my poor moh/sister helping me lift my dress all night long to pee

Since FH's family is Muslim (so they don't drink) and my fam is Irish (so we don't NOT drink!), this has been an issue for us.
We are going to have fun, non-alcoholic drinks offered to our non-drinking guests so they don't just have to have soda.
Our toast will not be champagne, but rather sparlking cider.
FH says he won't be able to drink at the wedding, but he may sneak a little Jack into his Coke
I don't want to get drunk...not even slightly buzzed. I want to remember everything! Maybe just a glass or two of champagne for me throughout the day.
As for the guests...well, we'll see how THAT goes with such differences in the drinking department!

We will be drinking- but we will stop at a nice buzz. I want to remember everything/I want to not throw up and be out of control/I don't want to be peeing all night.

i will probably stick with champange since i dont chug that, and its still decent lookin in pictures. lol
when the party starts i may have a drink...but i want to be able to properly say hello/goodbye to all the guests...and i want them to remember how good i loooked and how wonderful everythign was...NOT how trashed we were. LOLOL

I don't drink so that won't be a problem for me. FH will probably drink a little bit, but doesn't want to get anywhere close to being drunk. We want to have a memorable night, not a forgettable night.

we are both drinkers. so this is gonna be a bit hard LOL but I dont want to be peeing, looking drunk or not remembering my night; plus FH already forbade me from drinking I do plan on having some champagne and maybe a shot or two of cognac. FH probably will join me cause I really cant imagine him sticking to his set no alcohol policy, after all my half is Russian!
