Hello Ladies! I just wanted to let you know that I will be Heading to MA for a family reunion (tonight), so my next few QOTD’s may not as early, since their is NO internet access at my grandparents house in the mountains!
What do you think about drinking at the wedding?
On the last episode of BRIDEZILLA, the bride was so drunk!!! She was getting sick in the bathroom and missed her reception! Yuck!
My FH and I don’t believe in getting drunk at our own wedding. I can totally see how it can happen with nerves and all! We want to be able to remember what we can because we know that the day is going to fly by. Plus, We want to be able to party at our after party! The groomsmen men are another story – I am hoping that they are sober enough to get some good pictures!
EDIT: we are going to have a few drinks, but not to get drunk!

I will have a few drinks but I honestly think I'll be too busy dancing, making my rounds, taking pictures, to get wasted.
FH on the other hand doesn't know his limit and will probably go overboard. I seriously may need to come up with an idea about this...them GM's aren't any better

FH says he will be having his scotch (drinks only that at special events) and I laughed and said $10 you have a bottle of beer. I want to have a regulated intake of some drinks..not a lot...I want to not be a raging mess. I can't drink champagne anymore bc of my lapband but when the girls and I are getting ready, I will serve it to them and have wine..at least that is the plan.

I definitely want to have a good time in my wedding but I would also like to remember the day of my wedding . We both love to drink but we know when to stop. I definitely wont get drunk. I think I''ll have a few drinks but not to the point that I am puking in the bathroom.

I'll maybe have 1 or 2 drinks tops! FH isn't a huge drinker so i don't need to worry about that.
btw, saw that episode of bridezillas. It was great. that girl was a biotch and needed a good kick from karma.

Being drunk on your wedding day is SUPER TRASHY!!!! I don't care how you put it. You're the center of attention in this beautiful gown, looking liek a queen but your burping the alphabet and swigging a beer being a complete wastey facey! I can't , I just can't!!!!
I plan on sipping white wine or champange at my wedding. Very small sips lol

I'll have a few drinks, but i dont plan on getting drunk at my own wedding. FH says he's not getting drunk either...all the GM will probably be shiitfaced! haha.. however, i had to be bridezilla and make a rule saying no one can drink, not even ONE drink, before the ceremony, become one GM in particular doesnt know how to stop, and the last wedding he was in, he couldnt make it down the isle

I'm not really that much of a drinker to begin with so I'll probably just have 1 or 2 drinks and thats it... FH tells me that he's going to be drinking all night but he knows better, he just says that to get me riled up lol

We will be drinking but not to the point of being drunk. We can always have more after the receptionis we want to. My concern is more about my FBILs They all love to drink and we are taking pictures before the church. I am going to be a bridezilla and say 1-2 drink max before the church. I rather they not drink at all but I don't think that will be happening.

I am w/the majority of you, although it will be hard, FH & I truly want to remember and be an active part in not only our reception but also the after party. Our guests are primeraly made up of Firemen & Cops so its w/out going to be w/out a doubt a crazy party. I honestly don't care if the wedding party get sloshed as long as pictures are done & everyone has a safe way home @ the end of the night!

i agree....i dont know why but i hate seeing brides drinking from a bottle of beer while they are wearing a nice gown. Beer is fine, but maybe put it in a nice glass!

I would think i would be too busy to even want to drink. I would probably drink wine or champagne only. Lol i saw that episode on bridezillas (hilarious!!!) and she was worried about everybody else getting drunk...
