I dont think either of us were thinking about getting married when we first started but we learned quickly we had something special

i was 24. i don't think i was 'looking' to settle down, but i was open to it if the right person came along. i'm more of a relationship person than a dating person anyway.

I actually was at the point where I was happy being single and didn't want the drama of a relationship that everyone seems to have.

When FH and I started dating I was 26 but he was only 23 so I didn't think he would be ready for a serious relationship...

Luckily I was wrong!

We dated the first time around at 18. We definitely were not ready then! We dated again at 23. I think we just wanted to see what would happen. 6 years later here we are!

it was just a little over a year ago. I was 26 and he was 26 too.

I was def. ready to settle down. i had been living on my own since i was 19 and was really over the whole going out every night partying and all that stuff. but every guy i met from then till i met my FH has NO husband potential LOL.....

He on the other hand, was immature and spoiled, still lived with his parents, and didn't take much seriously lol. he has changed SO much, and i love him for it. Now i can imagine every part of my future with him...

I would say that I was ready for the love and the joy he has brought into my life. I think I knew he was the one! He says he knew in January of 05 that I was it for him (we didn't even start officially dating till February 05). He is the light of my life!!!!!!!!!

I have always been a relationship person as had FH. I don't think I was looking for the 'one' but I was definitely open to finding that person,

i was 21 & he was 28. i don't know what i was looking for at the time. i had met so many retarded men before him that i didn't want anything & then he came along. but that's how it always happens, when you're not looking you find it. he was looking for something serious but only if it was with the right person. he didn't want to waste his time either & hadn't met anyone who could keep his attention.
