~*~*~*~QOTD 7/3/11~*~*~*~

boooo it's my last question of the day!!!

I had so much fun being BOTW and I will be announcing the new BOTW later tonight

For my last question it's about your dream.
What did you go to school for?
What is your profession now?
What do you REALLY want to do? If you could have your dream job or profession and not worry about money what would it be?

*I went to school for teaching , I have an undergrad in Elementary Education and a Masters in Special Edu. I taught on LI for 4 years until I got really frustrated with the system and burnt out
*I now work from home with The Trump Network which I love
*For me my dream job would be to have a few small businesses of my own. One maybe wedding related, one would be to open a dance studio for children who are disabled and have it just be about dancing freely whatever way they can and the other would be to form my own non profit connecting therapy dogs with Autistic Children, this is party of my dream and I want to create it one day when I have the time and money. I've already gotten Cali (my dog) certified and will start local and small.

I have big dreams

Went to school undeclared and ended up with a sociology degree with a minor in history. The only reason I ended with that is because I changed my major so many times and this was the only other way for me to change again and still graduate on time.

Am currently working in advertising and figure out where to place ads for a big packaged goods company. Pretty far from sociology.

If i could do anything I would have my own children's clothing store. There is nothing that I love more than shopping for my niece and my friends kids and feel like there are no good kids stores that carry a good variety of products. Agree with you on the whole wedding related business. I'm completely addicted.

I went to school to be a Math Major, and added a second major as Computer Science.

I'm now a Software Engineer, working for IBM in technical support.

I do love my job. I guess I'd like to keep that, except maybe not have to carry pagers on weekends so often!!

Currently, I am in school for social work. I work for a background company for the last 4 years, but previously I was in real estate for the last 6 years. If I could, I have a few professions I'd love to do...one would be a judge. I have such an intense interest in this area, but have no desire to deal with phonies, being politically correct or the drama around this area. I'd also love to be a chef for my own restaurant, but this is short lived from time to time. Overall, I am very satisfied to say I will be a social worker soon, I have extremely high hopes for myself and the visions that I dream to change.

I went to school for sociology/elem ed.

Now Im an elem teacher in queens. Living the dream--ha!!!!!!!!!! Its not as glorious as it once seemed but I can't seem to imagine myself doing anything else. I still would like to write a children's book one day or publish something. I think it would be so cool to see my name on a shelf somewhere.

I received my undergrad degree in Mass Media and Broadcasting. I wanted to be a reporter, but after working at NBC I decided it wasn't for me. I went back and received my masters in Childhood Education and Special Education. I'm a special education teacher.

It sounds crazy but if I didn't have to worry about money, I want to be a stay at home mom! My mom was able to stay home with us and I have so many great memories of that time- I'd hope to do the same for my kids.

I went to school for Elementary Ed., Special Ed., and Literacy.

I'm currently teaching in Brooklyn as a special education teacher. I teach in a D75 school for children with Autism. My class is middle school ages 11-14. I love what I do and couldn't have asked for a better job. I love teaching special ed and that was my dream job! I just wish that I could teach closer to home. I live in suffolk and commute everyday to Brooklyn.

I went to school for Human Development and Family Studies and wanted to be a Child Psychologist. After undergrad, I didnt want to go into a Masters program right away and began to work in Recruiting/HR.

Now I work as a Corporate Recruiter for a large LI company, and previously was a headhunter with a financial/accounting based search firm. I really enjoy helping people find a job they love, but the job itself is very very boring lately.

If money were no object, I would go study at the Gemological Society and get certified to work with Diamonds and jewelry. I would either open a jewelry store or design jewelry.

Ahhhh, life is but a dream!!

I went to college knowing that I wanted to be an attorney, so I picked majors I would really like (also ones that wouldn't necessarily get me a job). I majored in Political Science and Psychology. I'm in law school now focusing on labor and employment law, which is absolutely what I want to do with my life. I'm currently working for a large public sector labor union, and it's exactly how I want to spend my summer. Ideally I would either work for a labor union, government agency, or (possibly) labor or employment law firm.

I graduated with a B.A. in English. I'm currently working in Human Resources as a Talent Acquisition Associate. I'm in the exact field I want to be in but my goal is to one day become a Director/VP, etc.

I studied journalism in college. I always wanted to write for a magazine and was able to gain some internship experience in that field. When I graduated it was the worst time to find a job and incredibly difficult to find something in publishing that paid enough to live in NYC. As much as I enjoyed writing, I stopped dreaming about working for a magazine.

Now I'm an office admin for a mid-sized company in the city. I love my job and have learned so much in the year plus I've been there. It's more than just sitting at the front and answering the phone. Admin supports most of the office and I love that!

I really like where I am now and can't really think of anything else I'd like to be doing or change my career. If it worked out in the future I'd like to work part-time in an office and have the opportunity to stay home with my kids. My mom always worked when we were younger and I wish my sister and I could have spent more time with her. I want to be around for my kids and FH wants the same.

I got a BFA in Graphic Design.
I currently work for an industrial supply company designing their catalogs & covers.
I'd really like to move further up in the company and have more of a managerial role. Only time will tell if that will come about.

If I could, I'd love to be a stay at home mom while doing some graphic work on the side.

My major was legal studies and my minor was computer science. I decided I didn't want to be a lawyer and went back to school for secondary math education.

Right now I am subbing, teaching dance, and such. lol

*Originally I went to school to major in biology (I wanted to work in forensics) I changed my major to Finance after a year, realizing jobs in the forensic field are hard to come by and I would be broke for a long time, lol

*Now I work on the trading floor at a large bank as a Trading Analyst

*I would love to be a teacher... I don't know why I never decided to go that path? If it wasn't so hard to get a teaching job (and keep it) I might have went back to school for teaching...

I have a Bachelor's in Child Study and a Master's in Literacy. I'm certified to teach birth-sixth grade in general and special education and am also literacy certified. I'm a special education preschool teacher for a great agency. My school is in the Bronx.

My dream job was always to be a children's book author. I wish I could get ideas together and find a great illustrator! I'd also love to travel and write reviews of where I go!
