has anyone had to do something in regards to their wedding that they didnt want to do just to please someone?? if so what, and who did you have to please?

Yes there is. My mom is making the CP's and I really dont like them but its one if the few things that she is excited about so I am letting her do it. Cp's are not a big deal to me. So just letting her do it!

OHHH yes!! It has to do with a certain person in my bridal party - who lets just say it not the person that everyone thinks she is- but family is family right??? not by choice that they are in my wedding

Well yes and no. We originally wanted to go with a dj instead of a band to save money. But my father and FIL's felt we NEEDED to have a band. Considering my father is laying out the cash......we went with the band. But I don't think of it as a bad thing, we booked an awesome band. But my compromise was that it had to be an NRC house vendor so that I didn't have to pay for everyone in the band to eat. Thank God Code Bleu is an NRC recommended vendor!!!!

Thankfully, no. I think a big part of this is that FH and I are allowing his mom to throw a huge post-wedding fiesta for all the people she thinks we should invite but have never met in our lives. Compromise is key.

Doesn't seem that way. FH and I are paying for everything so others know they really can't insist on anything. We are fairly accommodating though.
