QOTD 8/16/09

For my last question I want to know...

Are you having your bridesmaids all wear the same dress or are you letting them pick their own as long as they're the same color? Also, if they are wearing the same dress, are you having the MOH stand out in any way

I'm asking this because I 'm not sure of what I want to do yet

PRetty traditional. Im having all the bms wear the same dress and same color, having the moh wear a different dress i think but if i go with other dresses, moh will still stand out by the top of her dress being a diff color than the bms.

I think I'm going to have them wear the same dresses- i like how it looks better.

Mine will all be wearing the same dress and color. If I have a sash, I might do a different color for the MOH, if anything.

My bridesmaids are wearing the same floor length strapless dress, but my MOH is wearing a short dress with thick straps. She would have really been hard pressed to fit her bosoms in a strapless and I wanted everyone to be comfortable and feel good about themselves, so she's wearing a different dress.

It doesn't bother me since she's the MOH.

Everyone is wearing the same dress - to my MOH dislike - she will have a different boq though and she will be walking down the aisle by herself

I told my girls they can pick whatever dress they feel comfortable in as long as its the same color and material or Im going to pick out 3 or 4 and they can pick from those. i want everyone to be as comfortable as possible. I know my 2 cousins were very uncomfortable in their brothers wedding with the dresses his wife picked and they love that I am so easy going

i am having all my girls in the same dress, same color and then my MOH will be wearing the same dress different color. they can wear whatever dyeable shoes they want and then we'll go and dye them......

all the girls have the same dress....except the top part is lace with satin underneath, so for my bm the satin color is ivory and for the moh its deep red.

they are all wearing the same dress. the dress is really flowy so it looked good on all the body shapes!

bms will wear pink with a black sash but moh will wear the reverse....black with a pink sash!

I don't like the look of everyone in the same dress, so I was going to pick a designer and material and color and have them choose from that.

More that I think about it, I might just let them wear whatever they want. I just have 4 girls, and I want them to look good, so I might just tell them to get a chocolate brown dress, whatever they want!

My bridesmaids and MOH are wearing the same dress, except the bridesmaids will have a thin halter strap and the MOH will wear it strapless with a bigger bouquet.

I was originally going to let them choose between two colors and wear whatever dress they wanted. The more I thought about it, though, the more I wanted them to wear the same dress. I just like the uniformity of it better for pictures etc (although I've seen some beautiful pictures of letting them choose them, too).

All of my girls will be in the same color (and hopefully material) but different styles. They are all so different so I want them to pick a style that they are comfortable in. I like the way it looks when the dresses are all a little different. For my MOH, I want her to stand out in some way but haven't decided how yet. Maybe some kind of accessory in her hair?

having them pick their own in the same colors. My MOH will have an additional colored skirt hem on the bottom of her dress

they are all wearing the same dress but my 2 MOH's are having different BOK's the bridesmaids will have all peonies and the MOH's will be peonies and spray roses

I let them all choose whatever they wanted because they are all different sizes and look good in different things. I'm lucky because they all picked beautiful dresses and they are all long, two of them being strapless and the other three having halter type tops. My MOH is wearing an icy blue color, and the bridesmaids are wearing a little darker of a blue, and the two blues look beautiful together.
