I double majored in college, but I recently got my MBA in HR management and I am currently looking for an HR position to get my foot in the door.
I originally wanted to be a singer when I was little lol!!! That didnt happen ... no didnt think I went to school all those years to be a glorified assistant! lol

1. For those of us that went to college, what was your major? Went to St. John's and now have a BS in Finance
2. Are you now 'practicing' in that field? Yes, unfortunately
3. What did you want to be when you were a little kid? A scientist - a virologist to be exact
4. Are you doing what you thought you'd be doing? With the degree I have, yes I guess, but I really would prefer to be doing something science related - darn chemistry!

1. BBA in marketing and advertising communication
2. i worked 8 months in the field :( the company moved upstate and i am now an office manager
3. When I was little, I wanted to be a teacher
4. I am nowhere near what I thought I'd be doing, and not happy about it either

Nope, I am currently a Legal Secretary for a Publishing Co.

Veternarian

1.For those of us that went to college, what was your major? Undergrad- Psychology Masters- Clinical Nutrition
2. Are you now 'practicing' in that field? Not any more...I am getting my PhD in neuroscience- I study nerve regeneration.
3. What did you want to be when you were a little kid? Ballerina
4. Are you doing what you thought you'd be doing? No- My original plan was to go to med school but along the way I realized I loved doing research.

so i went to school for dance.. then changed my major to communications
2 yrs ago i quit everything to go back to school to teach pilates :heart it
when i was little i wanted to be a dancer.. so im kinda sorta in the same field.. just protecting my body! wouldnt be happier doing anything else!

I totally feel lucky in that I am pretty much doing what I set out to do:
1. For those of us that went to college, what was your major? Communications - Public Relations focus
2. Are you now 'practicing' in that field?Yep! I am the public relations representative for Nissan on the East Coast
3. What did you want to be when you were a little kid? I thought I wanted to be on TV and when I do spokesperson work, I am!
4. Are you doing what you thought you'd be doing? In a twisted way, yes! Although I am often considered to be on the 'dark side'

Child Study/ Speech Pathology

I am a pre-k teacher. =) I love my kids.

An ice-skater, a nurse or a dancer

not at all. I used to see my older sisters nursing books and got grossed out.

1. I majored in Psychology and am getting my MA in that too.
2. Yes! I'm doing quality of life research at Kessler.
3. I changed my mind every month, cop, elementary teacher, nail artist, cook, fashion designer, music teacher, english teacher, DJ, soccer player, and a million other things!
4. Yep, and I know I will do what I want to do in the long run (have my own therapy practice). What else can you do with a Clinical Psych PhD? Well, besides be a teacher and that's ok too because there have been times when I wanted to do that as well.
