Happy Sunday everyone! Back to work tomorrow eww :(

Today's QOTD has to do with advice, whether you ask for it or not...

What is the best wedding/marriage advice you've received? And the worst?

The best advice I have received is that the day goes by so quickly and to take it all in. The worst advice was 'don't get married.' Even if someone is joking I hate negativity!

the best advice i've gotten so far is to remember that it all works out, and that we will figure everything out. also, that this is MY time to shine and to do whatever i've been dreaming about for my entire life.

the worst advice i've received was an insinuation that i should forgo the wedding i want in favor of something cheaper since the next day we will wake up and 'it will all be over.'

Best advice is the one thing you should not worry about AT ALL is weather, since it is the one thing you have absolutely no control over.

The best piece of advice I have received was 'don't listen to advice, do what you dream of!!'

The worst piece of advice (and continues to drive me nuts) is everyone who starts their sentences with 'we'll, at ----- wedding they had -----'. You should do that too! Drives me so far up a wall when I'm asked to basically be someone's clone grrrrr

The best wedding advice I would say..would be to enjoy the day & make sure you take a few minutes to sit down and take it all in because the day goes by too quick.

The worse would be someone that is just a debbie downer about everythingggg that has to do about a wedding..I don't like that

The best advice I've gotten was to enjoy the planning process and take my time making decisions.

The worst advice was unsolicited comparisons about what others did for their weddings. If I wanted to know, I would have asked.

The best advice I've gotten was to enjoy being engaged, have fun planning the wedding and make sure to take a few minutes with FH at the wedding to take everything in.

The worst advice I got, even if people were joking, was telling me not to get married.

I think the best advice I've got so far is to compromise and pick your battles.
The worst by FAR has been 'marry for money, learn to love'

The best advice I've gotten is that 'it'll all work out and there will be problems that come up that day but it doesn't matter because in the end you have each other for the rest of your lives and that's what matters'.
The worst advice I've gotten was actually given to my FH who then relayed it to me. His dad told him to 'have the wedding in Ohio with sandwiches'. Um, no thanks.

The best wedding advice I was given was that it will all be beautiful and that all my worries won't matter!

Some of the best marriage advice I was given was in Pre Cana and they said to never talk poorly about your spouse to another, keep your disagreements under your roof, communicate and respect each other. Another piece of marriage advice was from my FIL who told my fiancé 'tell her no matter what she asks say yes dear!' haha..

I haven't gotten any bad advice at all!

Ugh FH's best man wrote on our engagement card 'I hope you don't screw it up' gee thanks. That's how u know his wife was away because there's no way she would have let him lol. That was the worst advice ever. The best advice we've gotten is to remeber the bigger picture when planning. Don't get lost on the details and small stuff.

The best advice I got was to not get upset when I talk to FH about minor details & he seems uninterested. In the beginning I wanted him to care about everything & it's honestly just not how he is when it comes to wedding planning. We make major decisions together &he leaves little things like the personalized napkins up to me haha

The worst advice I got was to save the $ & buy a house. I've been dreaming of my wedding since I met FH. No one's idea or 'advice' is going to take that from us
