****~QOTD 8/8/11~****

I find myself Google imaging wedding pics at least 3 hours a day. It's a bit unreal... I save the ones I like the most onto my documents so that at some point I can bombard my photographer with shots that are a must have!!! I also trust that my photographer will be amazing with out my opinion but i just love looking at the pics...

Question of the day is :
What are your must have shots? Or are you relying on your photographer to be creative ?

I also posted some pics i adore so you have an idea lol .. FEEL FREE TO POST SOME PICS ALSO IF YOU SEE SOMETHING YOU THINK WE WOULD LIKE...

this is a great question, but posting pics on this site is a pain in the @ss! Its easier to post in an album, which I am going to do now. I don't have too many must haves yet, but I hope to get some more ideas from you girls!

Just from reading other brides reviews, I know how important it is for a must have photo list, HOWEVER, I think its also important to be realistic.

I'm hiring a photographer based on their style, so I think its important for me to say, I want a shot of me and my dad before walking down the aisle, one of FH's face when he sees me etc, rather then finding a really cute father/daughter shot and say I want THIS and then try to recreate it.

I will be giving them a list of people I need photos with and some ideas of things I like, but I think if you try to ask them to actually 'recreate' photos they won't be able to fully capture whats really happening.

I agree .. Its obvious this picture wont be
re-created identically because I do not have stairs at my venue.. but the look of it is deff what im looking for... I meant more of like how it was black and white but the color in the girls dresses were brought out..

I haven't started my must have shot list yet but I definitely know I want a pic of FH seeing me for the first time when I walk down the aisle. We aren't doing a reveal & that is a moment that can never be redone.

Don't think I'm going to create a must take list with photo references, I totally trust my photographer to create some great shots.
What I will do is create a list for him with the names and relationship of the most important people, so to make sure we get lots of shots with them!

I am going to rely on my photographer to be creative. Although one picture that I love is very similar to the one Christina posted but the two of us would all be in color and everyone else behind us would be black and white!

I know my photographer is very talented. She did also ask me for a list of pics that I like so she can incorporate things that i like. Im so excited about photography and videography.. those are my 2 favorite vendors

My photographer's very creative so I'm going to l leave most of it up to him. There are a few shots I want (as far as family, friends, etc. so I will def. make it a point to let him know).

I have a must take list from here that I will modify, but I am going to trust her judgment. As you can see, she made good choices w our epics and I said nothing at all.

We talked about this recently and we are going to make a 'Cast of Characters' and who we want pictures with. Also we decided the reveal would be me walking down the big staircase at the Sand Castle. Besides that though I'm going to let Tom do his thing. lol

I have not even started on this because I would just have to many pictures. I really am trusting my photographer to be creative since that is what I am paying them for. I think my list would mostly just have who I want pictures taken with and not how we are posed.

I don't have a must take photo list. I don't want traditional wedding photos. Whatever the photographer gets will be great, and I don't need him to be worried about getting certain shots so he misses things that actually happen.
