Thank you Kroedel87, for making me BOTW!! Def. made my morning yesterday, lol. I'm a few weeks new to the message boards so my apologies if any of the questions have been done recently.

So the reason we are all here is because someone wants to marry us. Yay to that! What was your first impression of your FH? How long after you met did you start dating?

My first impression was how nice he was. I was right. He is a genuinely great person. My friend calls him 'Saint JD' especially after that first year because we met in Feb. of 2008 and didn't start officially dating until Feb. of 2009. From the day we started hanging out, we didn't stop. Not even when I briefly dated someone else that first summer! What a year that was. He had to wait patiently for me to come to my senses and realize what was in front of me!

Good question!

I met my FH in college through the guy i was dating at the time. Even though I obviously didn't look at my FH as any thing other than a friend, I thought he was so fun. I enjoyed whenever my bf and I hung out with him. Fast forward about 6 years to 2010, FH messaged me on facebook saying he no longer had my phone number and that we should hang out. The rest is history! We hung out and have been inseparable ever since :)

I met my FH through an online computer game! We met in person a few months after (he lived in IL, me in NY). We were long distance for 19 months, and I moved in with him in IL for 2 years then dragged him back to NY with me last feb :)

I first met FH at the bar where his cousin was the bartender. We were both dating other people at the time, but we both hung out (innocently) and talked ALL night! My first impression of him was definitely a good one - especially since he was a Giants fan!! After my ex, I swore I could never date any other fan again

After that night we spoke here and there but nothing really happened until we were both out of our other relationships - I won't cheat no matter what the circumstances. His relationship ended before mine and then I ended mine because of FH.

It took me a LONG time to agree to go out on a date because I was afraid of committing to something so soon, but he was very persistent! Lol. I definitely admired him for that. I would have given up on me!

I met FH on my first night 'going out' with the girls in college. It was the first weekend, and I had decided the best way to make friends/meet guys was to play up the 'tipsy' personality and just talk to everyone! After a pretty unsuccessful night at our first frat party, my friends and I headed back to our dorm to order some take out and call it a night. Outside the dorm was a group of guys, FH was one of them and instead of me having to initiate conversation, he actually yelled 'Sup?' and I thought that was pathetically hilarious. So I struck up conversation with him.

My first impression was that I couldn't believe I met a college guy who came to me first, was funny, nice, and how well we got along! I fell for him that moment, but it took him 6 months of 'just being friends' for him to realize he wanted more.

I met FH through online dating almost exactly 2 years ago. We talked for a while online, and then through texts and on the phone, we finally met and dated casually for a while (hey I was playing the field! lol) and became official on Oct 21st 2011! We are approaching our 2nd anniversary and it will be our last before we say I Do!
My first impression of him was how funny and 'normal' he seemed. I was online dating so you know the weirdos out there..lol clearly I made a good choice.

I went to high school with FH but we werent really friends, I actually thought he was kind of geeky. We ran into each other 2 years after high school and became friend, we hung out all the time. Eventually we started dating and we dated on and off for years. We broke up for good in 2001 but we had mutual friends so we still kept tabs on each other and would see each other at big functions. In 2010 he showed up to a friends birthday party, he was living with another girl but as soon as he saw me he broke down saying how unhappy he was and that he loved me and only wanted to be with me...and the rest is history!! I always knew he was the one for me the timing just wasn't right back then!!

My first impressions of FH were pretty comical! We met four years ago in a class our senior year of college. We had to stand up and introduce ourselves and I remember thinking 'hmm...he's pretty cute, but did he just say he's from California? not opening that can of worms' and I completely dismissed the thought. Apparently, though, he took notice of me and campaigned to some mutual friends of ours to convince me to take him to my upcoming sorority formal the next month. I finally agreed thinking I hated every guy I already knew and at least he had a 50/50 shot of not sucking, so we decided to meet up a few days before at a bar so the formal wasn't totally awkward. We spoke for like 20 minutes and afterwards I described him to my friends as a 'schmoozer' and said he reminded me of a used car salesman. I came REALLY close to uninviting him to the formal after that. I guess it's lucky I didn't!

I met FH on a 'myspace type site' they had a hot or not thing to meet people and apparently we both marked 'HOT' so that allowed him to message me.. We talked online and text for about two weeks before we met in person.. We went out that night and talked for hours about everything.. From that moment we pretty much started dating.. Neither one of us was into the idea of marriage though at the time so when he asked me to marry him three years later I was shocked but all for it since I knew from an early time in our relationship that if I EVER were to get married it would be him.. We are definitly eachothers soul mates and people tell us all the time.. There is no way either of us could have been meant for anyone else.. LOL

I met FH at work in 2002. He already worked there and on my first day the asst manager was walking me around introducing me to everyone. My very very first impression was, omg he smells good. lol! I remember so vividly thinking, wow he's cute. He was kind of a jerk and the 'bad boy' type, so naturally I was into him. LOL!! It's been a loooong 11 years, but I'm glad we stuck it out, I can't imagine my life any other way.

I met my FH on twitter! We both mentioned Boston University in our profiles, so I'm assuming that's how he found me. We went on our first date in July 2010!

My first impression of him was that he was SO NICE. i couldn't handle it!! he scared me off for a few months, but eventually i realized that after dating a bunch of jerks, i needed someone to treat me like a princess. FH also had to wait patiently for me to come around to this - good thing he did!

Yay, so glad there's another one of us! CB seems to have very few brides on here! Which room are you in?

When I met my FH, we were both with different people...2 years later, we saw eachother again, and we both had broken up with our x's around the same time =)

We started talking about our X's and how it didn't work out...later that week, he texted me 'hey there lady' lol

We then started to text eachother back and fourth and then we started to talk on the phone all night!

I love my felipe lol

We met thru a friend..she was going to meet up with him and his co-workers at a bar in the city and asked me if I wanted to come too, so I said yes! I didn't think of anything once I met him, we just clicked right away and exchanged numbers as just friends...we hanged out for about 3 months before we made it official, and after we were together 1 year we moved in together..and the rest is history :D

We were introduced through a friend in the summer of 2006 (we were babies) and I thought he was hot but mysterious, lol. We started dating right away. We moved in together after 6 years and got engaged 4 months later.

We actually met through a mutual friend. The night I first met him (at the Nautical Mile, so there was a lot of drinking involved LOL), I thought he and my friend were interested in each other so I kept pushing him to kiss her!

Turns out they didn't click, and a few weeks later he asked her if I was single. Unfortunately I had just started 'seeing' this major asshat, but luckily that only lasted a few months.

Once I was single again, my friend reintroduced us, and this time FI and I hit it off! It was love at 2nd sight!
