Thank you Kroedel87, for making me BOTW!! Def. made my morning yesterday, lol. I'm a few weeks new to the message boards so my apologies if any of the questions have been done recently.

So the reason we are all here is because someone wants to marry us. Yay to that! What was your first impression of your FH? How long after you met did you start dating?

My first impression was how nice he was. I was right. He is a genuinely great person. My friend calls him 'Saint JD' especially after that first year because we met in Feb. of 2008 and didn't start officially dating until Feb. of 2009. From the day we started hanging out, we didn't stop. Not even when I briefly dated someone else that first summer! What a year that was. He had to wait patiently for me to come to my senses and realize what was in front of me!

QOTD | 9.30.13 - Long Island Weddings

FH and I met at a wedding! His brother married my good friend from college and I introduced myself at the reception (in a friendly way). Later on I was looking for someone to dance with, but he was busy taking care of his grandmothers. Next thing I know, I'm on the dance floor and he comes up behind me, grabs me and starts dancing and singing with me. I immediately thought he was really funny and fun. We were glued to each others side the rest of the night, where he proved he was also romantic, spontaneous, and a true gentleman. Honestly, all those things still hold true... I've just learned more about how amazing he truly is!
