As a Bride-to-Be, there's the pressure to feel picture perfect and look our best for the big day . I know I certainly don't want a break out!

So my question of the day is:

What beauty habits or routines are you going to try out or buckling down on for the big day?

I'm trying to keep my skin care routine. I had a face wash and toner that works wonders for me, but when I get in super late or am lazy there are nights I skip - Yikes. My face looks so much better when I use it regularly.

Also, starting to think about nail care, so I can have nice, natural nails for my wedding. I hate acrylics.

Edit: Because I have no clue what day we're on after a three-day weekend.

Besides keeping up with my normal routie (using a face scrub a cpl times a wk and a green tea face wash) I want to get a facial a cpl wks before the day. FH treayed me to a spa day for my bday this past Jan and I loved the facial, my skin felt and looked fresh.

I also want to take something to make my nails grow because I don't want to put on fake nails either. I also want something for my hair so it can be extra healthy and shiney looking. I heard pre natal vitamins wrk well for both hair and nails! Lol..

I have a little over a year til the wedding so i haven't started anything, but I did make an appt with my derm to see what kind of routine he recommends and when to start it.

In January after the holidays are over and i'm finished with my graduate thesis, i'll start an exercise routine where i'll go to classes and do dvds 3x a week up until the wedding.

When it comes to beauty i'm going to get my teeth whitened a few weeks before and i'll probably get my hair dyed a month or so before if the color isn't fresh. For anyone who wants shiny hair for their wedding, go to a salon and ask for a clear glaze... it works wonders!

I don't mind the acrylic nails but if i can help it i'd like to keep them natural and get a gel french manicure so that it'll stay nice for the honeymoon.

Whitening! I am avoiding the sun like crazy and using a lightening cream on my face, arms and shoulders.
I plan to do a thorough laser facial at least three months before the wedding. The downtime is about a week for the intensity I want to do. I have done one, and it makes a huge difference.
I also love the clear glaze for my hair. It makes it shiner and thicker for sure.
Along with my usual exercise, I am taking a lot of vitamins and supplements for skin and hair as well. Not sure if they really work, but I am hopeful!

the biggest thing for me was deciding not to get the japanese straightening anymore, its great and takes out my frizz but styles absolutely do NOT hold with this straightening! it will also save me alot of money before the wedding.

I'm taking prenatals now! Killing 2 birds with one stone since I keep telling FH the inception day will be our wedding night!

I already started a skin care regiment at Body Cosmetica becuase I have oily skin prone to breakouts & pore scars. I am having 6 laser treatments, 6 chemical peels, and 6 microdermabrasions. They know my wedding date & will work accordingly so my skin is ready for the big day! (I found their company at a Bridal Show & won a free treatment).
I am slo taking prenatals for my hair & nails and want to do teeth whitening. I am going to get my hair colored - either red (to match our theme) or blonde highlights. I want to have a natural glow too (without looking sunburned).
I am definiteltly not trying any new facial treatment before the wedding!!!

OMG us girls have to do so much and FHs just have to put on a rented tux, comb/gel their hair and they're done! Ughhh lol
