When you got engaged who did you tell first and how did you tell everyone else?
I obv called my mom first, then i actually talked to only.... 10 people.
I texted about 50 other people saying, 'yo.. i just got engaged'
Gotta love the mass text messages!!!

i called my mamadukes first... and she was just waiting for me to call her screaming/crying lol, apparently fh had told everyone and their mother that he was going to propose AND showed them the ring..... pooper scooper took all the fun outta it lolol.... but then i ended up calling another 10 people also and the i threw out some texts my my friends were really the ones that texted everyone in their address book hahahaaaa

Uhhhhh yea, REAL early........
First, I ran downstairs and started banging on my mother's door! After that, came upstairs, called my dad, then his family. Then I sent out a mass text with only a picture of the ring......and my phone wouldn't stop ringing all night.
Keep in mind, he didn't actually propose until 11pm and then I had to work at 9am the next morning! Needless to say, there was very little sleep that night

FH proposed to me in front of both our families. Since they were all there when he made me almost faint with joy, I called my BFFFF first to tell her the good news.

Call my parents first, then tried a million times to get in contact with my brother and SIL finally they just came back to the hotel we were all stayin in.
Then a text everyone!!!

I told my mom first. We were going to call my whole family but we decied to wait and announce it at Thanksgiving dinner, which was 3 days away so that we could tell everyone at once. Then I told my dad and sent out a mass text to friends

hmm well i attempted to call my mom but she was out and she wasnt answering her cell. i called like 8 times. John was like call your dad and i said i couldnt cuz my mom would freak out if i called him first so finally after she answered i spoke with her, then i called my dad....then i think i called my brothers and then a few friends...maybe 3.
the next day on my drive to work i called my family (gram, aunts, uncles, etc)
we got engaged at night on a weeknight so i couldnt call some people since it got late

I called my mother first...she made me cry, and not the happy Im so excited cry, the oh my god my mother hates us and isnt acknowledging our engagement.... Then we told the people that we were renting the apartment from (they were our friends) After that people just started to figure it out...We tried to wait a few weeks before we told other people but they sorta noticed the ring on my finger...

i called my mom... and then texted my friends when we were walking out to dinner to celebrate lol... then the next day i called my uncle and told a few other people and my mom told my aunts and everyone else cuz italian families have to tell the world lol

I called my mom, then my dad...then on Christmas day we announced it to both the families. Anyone who I called to wish Merry Christmas found out when I spoke to them

I called my mom first and she knew because FH had asked her the night before. Then I called my closest family and friends all while were sitting at the restaurant table and in the way home in the car!!!!
Plus, today is our one year engagement anniversary, so I am even more excited for this QOTD!!!

i was in mexico...so i called my mom and then my dad but neither were answering so i called my sister...she was the first one that knew..
then i finally spoke to my mom and then my dad...called a few closest friends....and then sent a mass text to other friends so that i didn't keep spending a fortune to call everyone from mexico!

I didnt call anyone for about 2 hours! I'm weird. I just wanted to enjoy it without all the questions. Then I called my parents, sister and 3 friends. Everyone else pretty much found out on facebook.

he proposed in the parking lot before and islanders game and my whole family was coming to the game so i didnt call any of them. i took a picture of hte ring with my camera phone and texted it to my close friends. then the phone calls started coming in!!

Wow. Great question. He proposed to me while we were out of town, so I wanted to wait to tell every one in person. I told my parents first and my two bff's next and I think they spread a lot of the news! LOL!

kinda funny...the night we got engaged my parents didn't know it was gonna be that night so they were no where to be found when i called. I didn't talk to them til the next morning. I called both of my brothers. the first one was ecstatic and practically crying. the other one was like 'congrats, u are crazy..' whatever that means

I jumped throught the house like a school kid and woke my mom up... it was like 8 in the morning when FH proposed. The went to my dad and then my sister. Then texted my friends and Then I posted it on Facebook like an hour or so later.
