QOTD for friday

Good morning ladies.


What is something that you have done for FH that you never thought you would do?

What is something he has done for you he never thought he would do?

I bought him an xbox 360 for his bday lol

what he has done for me that i though he would never do? proposing

I never thought I would move to another state for him

I never thought he would buy the ring I wanted...he was set on a certain dollar amount and I was fine with it, but it tripled his budget and it was worth every penny!

i bought him a computer hard drive for christmas one year.

i can't pick one thing that he has done for me over the past 9 years, he does a lot for me that i never thought he would do. 3 examples are, living downstairs from my parents for 3 years already, giving me $10,000 to pay off credit card debt, & paying for a semester of college tuition.

TRUST ME

I never thought he would change his ways for me...He was in the school of thought 'money isnt important and I will spend it on everything i want without working for it...and then pay the credit cards later'...He now realizes that maxing out credit cards isnt the way to live (in debt...) and he is working VERY hard in paying them all off so we are better able to save for the wedding...He has already paid off several of them!! I'm really proud of him for that

I never thought I would settle down as quickly as I did...I am very much an independent person and a 'traveler' and he just gives me a sense of home that keeps my feet on the ground..He helps me stop and smell the proverbial roses...

i'm very upset with FH right now lol. I can't think of anything lol.

I never thought he would be sooo cooperative with the wedding planning!!!

I LOVE HIM SOOOOO MUCHH!!!!!

This is gonna be a long one.....

FH and I were dating 4 months and he was in a very serious car accident, with e 1% survival rate. He was in the hospital for 2 months, and had to go to rehad after that. He had multiple head surgeries (including one which has resulted in half of his skul being a prosthetic), as well as other less serious ones, although complications from any surgery was always a major concern. He was in a coma for 10 days, and the Dr's said, if he makes it we don't know what condition he will be in. They thought for sure he would have brain damage.

I was at his bedside every day but 2 for the full 2 months (I only missed those bc my BF was getting married, and the other bc I was physically exahusted). We live in eastern suffolk and he was in Manhatten so everyday after work I would travel to the city until about 10pm, take the train home and do it all over again the next day.

He has been out of work due to his disablility for about 2 1/2 years. I have been his soul support. I never knew I had it in me to overcome such a great challenge. I knew very early on that I loved him and there was something extra special about him. People told me it was ok to walk away that I was looking at a world of hardships and I REFUSED! I ended friendships over such things and was very stubborn.

Thank God! He obviously made it. He can walk, talk, he is not brain damaged he is perfect. Doctors themselves have called him a miracle and they don't know how he is alive today. That is something I never knew I COULD do. It was by far the hardest thing I have ever had to endure. The good thing is now FH say we know there will be tough times ahead but if we could make it through that we can make it through anything....

I know it was lengthy but I am glad I got to tell the story to you all. I have mentioned bits a pieces before but that is the jist of it....

OH and he never thought I would stay with him all this time while he got back on track and is ready to begin working... which he was cleared to do!

He had his heart setting on buying a house all the way on the east end of long island after we get married, and I want to continue living in the city. He compromised with me and he's willing to live in Brooklyn - never thought that would happen.

And I never thought I would rub his back as he threw-up from too much drinking. Eww

before i met him i never cooked anything and now i'm cooking, trying different recipes and i'm actually like it!! haha
For him i would say i never would of thought he would want to come to all these wedding shows and meeting with vendors but he has been soo great and gives his opions so i'm very happy about that lol

It would definitely be that I am helping take care of his mom since she got sick. She has beginning stages of dementia, is on oxygen and a walker and cant get around (and is an extremely difficult person to deal with)
FH has done so much over the years that it is hard to pick one thing that he has done for me.

I moved for him. To New Jersey. I have always been a city girl. I grew up in Brooklyn, and went to NYU so that I could live in Manhattan. I LOVE the city and city life, but Fh hates it. So I moved to New Jersey. It's close enough that I can commute if I want to, and it really makes him happy. The city just makes him miserable.

He does everything for me. My car got broken into over the weekend, and he took care of replacing the glass, getting me a new gps etc. He does everything in his power to make me happy and ease my stress.

Honestly everytime I think about what you wrote it makes me want to cry what a great success story I keep thinking too how you said you cry at everything lol

I moved out of Manhattan for him! That was huge. I used to say that I was the girl who 'didn't do boroughs!'

as for him, he proposed and moved closer to Manhattan and got a cat, even though he's allergic! :)
