Jenna_and_John--
(it would have been to long to quote again.. lol)

Thank you that really means a lot, I didn't mean to make you cry though...

Honestly everytime I think about what you wrote it makes me want to cry what a great success story I keep thinking too how you said you cry at everything lol

LOL I do!!! I hate it!

I honestly think I'm right there with you bc I finally thought of my answer which made me tear up hahaha

I never thought he would push to be with me. I had always pushed guys away bc in my messed up mind I thought if he really wanted to be with me he'll fight for me and they never did. I still remember the first night FH and I hung out I made up every excuse in the book and plenty before that and he pushed and pushed and made sure we met up. Because of that night the rest is history. Now when we talk about it he has admitted that if I hadn't met up with him that night he prob would've given up, and I thank God everyday that I did phew lol.

What I never thought I'd do for him hmm I don't know he does A LOT for me I don't think I always reciprocate I guess one thing that I can think of which is kind of lame is being around his smoke filled house bc his dad smokes and I HATE IT and am so against being around it!!!

Ohhh I love it. It was soo meant to be for you guys. He sounds like a great guy. I know exactly what you mean most guys are not determined to go after what they want. Maybe it's an insecurity thing. Atleast from what I found in the past. Good for you for playing hard to get and even GREATER for him that you gave in... Congrats!

btw the you being around smoke isn't lame... It's tough to be around. When it really bothers you

I always said i'd never clean up after anyone and I clean up after FH constantly...

as for the other way around... fh's comment was 'ask you to marry me'

Re: QOTD for friday

There is so much I have done for FH that I would never thought I would do for anyone for example like dating someone who isnt a few towns over. Its been rough dating and being engaged to someone who lives in the state above you but we made it work and i think it has made us stronger in our relationship.

I never thought he would fall in love like he did.

For him... I watched a Battlestar Galatica marathon.

For me...he gives up going out with his friends to babysit with me.

This is gonna be a long one.....

FH and I were dating 4 months and he was in a very serious car accident, with e 1% survival rate. He was in the hospital for 2 months, and had to go to rehad after that. He had multiple head surgeries (including one which has resulted in half of his skul being a prosthetic), as well as other less serious ones, although complications from any surgery was always a major concern. He was in a coma for 10 days, and the Dr's said, if he makes it we don't know what condition he will be in. They thought for sure he would have brain damage.

I was at his bedside every day but 2 for the full 2 months (I only missed those bc my BF was getting married, and the other bc I was physically exahusted). We live in eastern suffolk and he was in Manhatten so everyday after work I would travel to the city until about 10pm, take the train home and do it all over again the next day.

He has been out of work due to his disablility for about 2 1/2 years. I have been his soul support. I never knew I had it in me to overcome such a great challenge. I knew very early on that I loved him and there was something extra special about him. People told me it was ok to walk away that I was looking at a world of hardships and I REFUSED! I ended friendships over such things and was very stubborn.

Thank God! He obviously made it. He can walk, talk, he is not brain damaged he is perfect. Doctors themselves have called him a miracle and they don't know how he is alive today. That is something I never knew I COULD do. It was by far the hardest thing I have ever had to endure. The good thing is now FH say we know there will be tough times ahead but if we could make it through that we can make it through anything....

I know it was lengthy but I am glad I got to tell the story to you all. I have mentioned bits a pieces before but that is the jist of it....

OH and he never thought I would stay with him all this time while he got back on track and is ready to begin working... which he was cleared to do!

WOW what an amazing story, really touched me. They should make a love story movie based on your relationship. He is so very lucky to have such an amazing woman by his side

Re: QOTD for friday

I bought FH a dartboard for his birthday because he reallly wanted one. I didnt want one because I thought he would put holes all in the walls.

Something FH did is that he is considering coming to the g2g next week, I was so surprised.

Re: QOTD for friday

For his 25th birthday (2 years ago), I bought him a PS3 (which was brand new) and a 32 inch TV for his 'game room'.... he now realizes that it was to get his gaming things out of the living room

FH shocks me all of the time... I guess it would have to be the suprise vacation to Martha's Vineyard and HOW romantically everything was planned (he is not a planner)

Re: QOTD for friday

Justin does things for me all the time. The ONE thing I can think of that stands out above all the rest I don't feel comfortable sharing (public website, and all), but he knows how important it was for me, and did it even though there was no earthly reason for him to do it AT ALL.

He lets me get my way with things I want to do, that he doesn't want to do. Not in a tantrum kind of way, but we talk about it, and he always sees my point of view, and is willing to make a sacrifice to see me happy.

I've helped him save money, and budget. He was of the: If I have the money, why not spend it school of thought... and I struggled with that for awhile because I know how important money is. Especially when we're trying to plan a wedding and save for somewhere to live! He was never one to look at the big picture, and I help him with that.
