I don't think they are necessary, but they do help tie everything together. We chose royal blue and black (but mostly royal blue with touches of black). We chose this because we are huge NY giants fan and wanted Giants blue (which is a bit darker than royal blue).

I am also doing the fall themed wedding. My Centerpieces will be greens and oranges and yellows. I never heard of circus roses I will have to check them out. Our weddings are the same weekend woohoo!!

We are having a victorian vintage wedding, inspired by westbury manor. To incorporate this feel the men will be wearing morning suits and ascots and girls will be wearing pink satin and ivory lace dresses!!!! The RH also inspired my choice for a very vintage looking wedding dress. As you all know we are creating our own photo booth by the fireplace in the library and we will have vintage props there for guests to take pics.
For our colors we have chose to use pale pink, ivory and gold. The pale pink was inspired by my favorite spring flower, the peony. The gold and ivory fit the victorian theme as well as WM so well.

I dont think a color scheme or theme is neccessary. I'm choosing to have a color scheme (purple and green) to keep me focus so I wont turn the whole wedding into a rainbow brite episode
I love purple and before I was even engaged I knew I wanted purple in my wedding so yay for purple!
In terms of a theme, we decided to do a photo theme because my FM is a photographer and I work in the media industry so thats our common theme between us so we decided to make that our overall theme.

My theme is 'Peacock Colors'
always loved the turquoise blues and lime greens. They're funky and modern, just like moi! HAHAHA
But yeah, the only thing that I've incorporated peacocks in would have to be my STD's and my invites. My BM and MOH dresses will be a turquoise and aquamarine color too

Not sure if its necessary but it does give you a good idea as to what you want your wedding to be.
My colors (as of now) are berry, white/ivory, and silver. I'm getting a lot of crap from people about my colors and I'm trying not to give in...if I do, I'm going with a light purple or lavender color, or even blue....ahhhh decisions...

'My colors are blush and bashful' 'Your colors are pink and pink. The altar looks like it was hosed down in Pepto Bismol' Just had to throw in the steel magnolias quote since thats what I first thought of when I read the question!
Our colors are chocolate, cream and lemongrass (little darker than sage green). We wanted earthy neutral tones and loved this combo!

My colors are black (for BM dresses), white (just because) and Cobalt blue (cause FH wouldn't let me pick purple ) but I might add purple flowers to the CP

my 2 fav colors always were pink and yellow. Growing up until probably 10th grade my fav color was yellow and now its pink. I am obsessed w/ pink. fh told me to pick something else besides pink too so i went w/ yellow. i thought they are nice bright colors for a late may wedding
