It's finally Friday ladies!!!! So for today, let's talk last name.
Do you plan on completely changing your last name when you get married? If not, are you going to hyphenate it?
If you are changing it, what nationality is your current last name and what nationality will your new last name be?
PS. Saturday's QOTD is probably going to be late because I will be driving home from Jersey.

I am going to change my last name. My last name is italian and my married name will be italian too! Even with the same initials! 'HB'

Yep - going to change it. FH would be upset if I didn't. My last name now is Mazzarelli (100% italian), and my new last name will be Joubert. It's french... pronounced 'Joe Bear' ... hence the SN!

Yeah i'm going to change my name too... it means A LOT to my FH for some reason. To me, i feel like i worked hard to be a professional and have my medical license in my name.. but since i do not care too much and he DOES a lot... i'm going to change it. My last name was german but new last name is real 100% italiano (hope i cant pull it off :) )

I will be completely changing my last name. My last name is German and is a pain in the neck to pronouce - FH's last name is Irish, and much easier for everyone to say -- Donnelly!

I'm changing mine too. My last name is Lee and i'm not asian. Lol
FH is Latin.
Funny, i never changed my name when I was married the 1st time lol

my first name is colleen (hello irish) and my new last name will be castellano (hello italian) haha but i like how it sounds. i would never even think of not changing it!

Write now I have a Maltese/Italian last name and my FH is italian. I'm gonna change my last name to my middle name and take FH last name

yep I'm changing it. Both are Italian. Its funny - everyone at work is like soooo you're changing a couple of vowels and thats pretty much it lol.

I am going to be taking FH's last name (not hypen or anything). I'll be going from an Italian last name that no one ever seems to pronounce properly to a very common Irish last name

I'm going to be changing my name. I might still go by my current last name professionally, but I'm not 100% sure. I'll probably go by his in the end.
I'm going from a welsh/english last name, to an english last name.

I'm changing it. FH wants it and I don't mind. My current last name is Skiba (skee-ba)...which is Czech (shortened over the years I'm sure!) and my new last name will be Burhart (clever screenname choice eh?)...which is some kind of German I think. People have had serious problems pronouncing my last name over the years, and it will be nice to have something fairly straightfoward!!

I am changing my last name to his but I havent decided whether or not I want to have mine as well. We have no boys in the family to carry on our last name But anyway.. My last name is German and his is Italian.

My last name now is polish, and its funny because my dad is the most italian man ever lol. My mother is 110% italian so I've been raised a total Gumba.
I am changing my last name to the very italian name I always should've had hehehe.

My last name is korean. One syllable. I like FH's last name better and I love how it spices up my first so I'm happy to change it.
