QOTD: How would you describe your wedding day look

Not sure if there was a QOTD yet - but I'm bored

how would you describe your wedding day look? girls who aren't married yet what is the look you want to achieve?

for awhile i thought i wanted to have this sexy bride look going on - but in the end, i think the style/look i am going for is elegant and timeless - my dress is on the plain side, my accessories are very simple, almost antique looking, and in the end i think im going to end up with a simple updo and make up that is more on the natural side....

for some reason i thought i would end up with a more red carpet /glam look - and i was into oversized jewelry and i wanted to wear my hair long and down but it ends up that the things i liked and picked were the total opposite of that i just want to be naturally beautiful that day, so i guess the look i want to achieve that day is simple/elegant and timeless....kind of reminds me of an 06 bride - camacho - i always thought she was a natural beauty on her wedding day and i feel like her look was very simple and timeless...

I thought more about this, and I think I will look VERY Italian that day. Big veil, lots of dark hair, etc. Like my mom in the 70s.

you should go for the staten island bride look its funny - my goal is to look like the complete opposite!

DITTO!!! Everytime I hear 'this is very popular' on my Brooklyn neighborhood, I automatically rule it out!

Hmm...that's a good question...I would think the overall wedding had a 60's undertone but I think I was going for more of a natural and romantic type of look when it came to me- kind of a little bit leather and a little bit lace

I was shooting for elegant and romantic but still trying to pull a little 'trend' into the mix. My hair was a huge part of the aesthetic, as it is for most brides, and I am sad to admit it let me down I tried to do the soft, romantic half - up do, but with all the rain and humidity I dropped a lot of curl and gained some frizz in its place.

Honestly, I wasn't going for a look. I picked my dress on my first shopping trip and my cathedral veil on my second fitting which happened to be the same designer. With my hair, I was only certain that I wanted an up-do, he specifically said he wanted to go for a more 'regal' look and I went along with it. I don't know anything about make-up or applying it so the natural look was more for me. I'm a total push-over and the final wedding day look worked out in the end so I was happy and comfortable.

I was very concerned about still looking like me so I chose natural and romantic

I wanted a classy reception, very romantic... and I had just that! We had all roses in our CP's, our wedding was in a ballroom... everything was just perfect
