What did you think is a part of or detail of your wedding that you would not have known about without LI Weddings?

Honestly - I think without this site I would have been totally lost. I don't know where I would have started with finding vendors. I also don't think I would have known about some of the etiquette of planning too. Its been pretty invaluable to have people to bounce things off of! I would have been really lost!

I'll never forget, when I was in my friends wedding party in 2011, she told me she got helpful advice from the message boards over at LIweddings.com. I took her word for it but didn't give it a second thought. But then when my time came I remembered what she said...boy, am I glad!

That being said, I can't think of anything specific but like little details of what other people are doing for their weddings helps keep our own timeline in check. Recently I had asked about what others did for their limo situation and that helped to know.

I had picked my venue, photographer/ videographer and florist before I was on this site. LI weddings has definitely helped me pick my dj (after houRs!) and get great ideas for favors and DOC (once we book). It's just been great to have a support system of ladies going through this crazy process at the same time as me.

I am not from this country, and have only been to one wedding so far. There are a lot of things in planning that I didn't know about. Channa plaques, wire hangers, favor ideas, etc. etc. I definitely would've been lost had it not been for LIWeddings and the great bunch of girls helping each other out.

My hair girl, Fire Monkey. The first few times I saw reviews I thought that was a weird name for a hair business. The next few reviews I thought wow, so many positive reviews she must be expensive! The next few reviews made me go okay, I need to contact this girl and see what the hype is about.

After my trial I totally got it. Dusti was so fun and personable, reasonably priced, and did great hair! I am so excited for her to come to my house on the big day!!

Without LIW I wouldn't know about most of my vendors, especially Frank Ahn. I love being able to read reviews and see what other brides thought.

This is a great question! I booked DOC, limos, hair, makeup, tuxes, invitations from recommendations. I also never would have known about Channa plaques and maybe card boxes without this site. So basically, without you ladies, I'd be taking the bus to my wedding with my hair in a sock bun!!

I wouldn't have known about so many DIY's and Etsy.....I had all vendors done since I am a party person those were done in like 3 days.

Ladies we need to arrange a meeting or whatever acronym you ladies use.......LOL! I don't read and comment as often as I used to but when I do read I LOVE IT!

I would have not known about all the different vendors out there!!! Also I feel like it's the best support group to! Lol when ever I freak about budget there is always do much comfort to know that there are others with similar stars and that all will be ok!

I actually researched all of my vendors on my own - but I definitely wouldn't have gotten so many DIY ideas. Seeing how creative everyone is with their little wedding details definitely lit a fire under my a$$ to start doing some things of my own!
