It is another two parter for today (one wedding related and one get to know each other question):

1. Where he FH propose?

2. Where did you grow up?

1. FH proposed at our favorite neighborhood Italian restaurant. It was really romantic because we were the only ones in the restaurant.

2. I grew up in Woodbury.

He proposed at our house
I grew up in Selden

1. He proposed in my bedroom – I think the first thing I said was, “But I’m wearing my pajamas!” He made a page for our scrapbook and tied the ring to it.

2. I grew up in Bayville.

1. My FH proposed while on vacation in Croatia.

2. I grew up in Astoria, Queens.

1. He proposed on the top of Heavenly Mountain in Lake Tahoe.

2. I grew up in Northport.

1. FH proposed in his room. We were leaving for a weekend in the city... I was sitting on his couch and he was packing up (or so I thought!!). Before I even knew what was going on he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. He later told me that he had a whole plan for when we got into the city but he was sooo nervous he couldn't wait! He bought a 1988 bottle of DP and the Swarovski Crystal Champagne Flukes!!!!!!! It was sooo sweet of him!

2. I grew up in Rockville Centre

1. FH proposed in PA while away on a quadding(ATV) trip. We were done for the day and we went back to the hotel, showered and went to the camp ground his parents were staying at. We had dinner and I went outside by the campfire and he told me to sit by him and he asked me infront of his family and friends. I cried!!!

2. I grew up in Miller Place.

FH proposed over Sunday breakfast he prepared at his home for us. It was so sweet.

I grew up on the beach!

1. He proposed at a park near our house, while we were taking a walk. It was wonderful.

2. I grew up all over the place b/c my dad was and still is in the Army. 12 years in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, then we moved to Missouri, then college in WV, and 6 months in Arkansas, then moved to LI about 10 years ago. Live in the Bronx now with FH.

1. He proposed in aruba on our anniversary.
2. I grew up in Queens and am still there for now.

1. FH proposed in our favorite philly restaurant on our 3 year anniversary after the symphony!!

2. I am a Shoreham girl, born and raised!!!

1. FH proposed in Times Square, New Year's Eve. It was the first time either of us had been in Times Square for New Year's.

2. I grew up in North Jersey.

1. FH proposed at my house with my whole family celebrating my name day (I am Italian and we celebrate your saints name).

2. I grew up in Jackson Heights, Queens

1. FH propsed in the city while we were out to dinner

1. FH took me out for a meal then we went out for a drive, he took me to this place called cairn o mount (its in Scotland). The tradition is you pick up a rock from the bottom and once you drive all the way to the top you get out and place your rock on the top of a pile already there. When we got there he said to me 'do you know the tradition is about the rock' and I said 'its a pity we never picked one up at the bottom' then he said 'its lucky I came prepared then' and brought out the ring and said will you marry me? Obviously I said yes!

That is an awesome story!!!!!!!!!!!!So happy for you! And a ceremony in Central park and a reception at Tavern on the Green! Lucky girl! You are so blessed! So thrilled for you!
