So I can't think of a wedding question so here goes a different one:
If you could change your profession, what would it be and why?
I would have been a chef or had something to do with cooking. I actually wanted to go to school to become a chef but my parents talked me out of it. Instead I went to school to become a teacher. Don't get me wrong, I love being a teacher but a part of me will always wonder how things would have been if I went to school to be a chef!

Yes and I would go back to study nursing. Actually it's looking more and more like I'm headed in that direction.

My plan was always to teach middle school English, but with this economy, not so much.

I think I would do the same. I started off in the medical profession then thought PR was for me and now I'm working in real estate.
But I still love anything medical related.

Re: QOTD: May 20, 2011
I'm a graphic designer now and I love it, it is my calling I believe. Although, I think over the years, my passion has shifted to food and everything surrounding it. The whole sustainable food movement really intrigues me. I could never be a chef, that is SUCH a tough job, but some involvement in the food industry would make me so happy. I always apply to design jobs that are for restauranteurs and such.

I am not a proffeional now... I just work as a Customer Service rep....
But I would love to be a ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher... or a teacher in Kindergarden.... Or a Proffesional Dancer...
I cant achieve the one that I want the most... Teacher...
Why?
I always wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl... I used to play teacher/students with my friends & brother when we were lil and I was always teh teacher.... Once i started to grow I understand MORE my passion to become a teacher.... Once I came to teh USA, I experienced ALL the struggles by being in a Country where Englihs is the main language and I coudlnt speak it... I, thank God, overcame that and now I can speak/write/understad English Obv rit lol...
I think I could definitely help all of those students who come here. I can teach them how to learn english, btu I think one important thing I could also do is to teach them how to OVERCOME all the struggles We go thru when we come to another country where the Main language is not the one you have learn... There are so many struggles we go thru, and No offense to u girls but, many English Speaker dont know... We get treated bad, ppl make fun of us... I got treated badly in school. the girls/boys used to throw french fries at me for not speaking english. they called me 'stupid b!tch' for not knowing the language (I memorazise the phrase n I asked someone what stupid b!itch meant since i coudlnt speak it)... very hurtful times
Lol I feel like I am wrting an essay lol or like a college application essay...
SORRY for long response!!

One thing to consider with being a chef is the crazy hours. A teacher has much better hours.
