**QOTD Monday 7/25/2011*

Morning Ladies!!! Finally the heat wave has died down to a reasonable temperature. I want to thank Judy again for picking me as the next BOTW.

Now I know we all feel sluggish on Monday, but let's get those gears grinding!

Can you remember the first gift FH ever gave you? If not then what is the most treasured gift he has given you beside the lovely e-ring on your finger?

FH had gone to Egypt for a month right in the beginning of when we started dating. It was killer for me since everything was so fresh and all I wanted to do was spend time with him. When he came back he gave me a ring. FH told me it was my promise ring. The stones form the shape of a flower and in the middle the stone is purple (my fave color). It's cubic zirconia, but I love it just the same and still wear it to this day.

I think the first gift he gave me was a xmas gift. He bought me a gorgeous 1/2 carat diamond ring. I stopped wearing it when I lost weight bc my finger went from a size 7.5 to a 5.5, I really should go and get it resized.

For our 6 months (I know it's cheesy, hah) he bought me a beautiful 3 small stone diamond necklace. I'd never worn diamonds before and it was a total shock to me he'd buy something like that! I wear it pretty much every day, I love it.

The most memorable gift FH has given me I would have to say is when he bought me an amazing camera. He knows how much I enjoy photography and he always pushes me to do more which means alot to me. I never would have been able to afford to buy myself such a nice one, so it meant alot to me.

I know the first few gifts he gave me. He had just gone on my dream vacation (to Italy) before we were dating. I teased him a bit about it, and how I always wanted to go there. He invited me along last minute, but I thought he was just kidding, and I had plans to go on a big wine tour for the Finger Lakes during the time he was gone.

So he came back with a few presents for me:
1) a Wine cork (since I went on the wine tour)
2) a shot glass (since I collect them)
3) a small jewelry box
4) a pendant (He waited a few weeks to give that to me after he returned-I think he was waiting to see if we were really going to start dating or what) but it was gorgeous, and so unexpected!!

Well We had just started dating around Valentines day, and we didn't 'officially' celebrate it, but we hung out that day and he gave me like 15 of my favorite candy bars! I thought that was really cute since we had only been dating under a month, and still weren't technically a couple.

The most meaningful thing FH ever got me was definitely one year when one of my Christmas presents was a digital frame. He said to plug it in to make sure it worked, and he had put in nearly every photo we had taken together, and uploaded songs that have significant meaning to us to play during the slideshows. Yeah I was crying, haha. To me that took more effort than going and buying me some expensive jewelry!

If memory serves me well, he sent me gorgeous flowers on my birthday, which happened to be while he was out West on a guys baseball trip. We both had made summer plans/trips before we met in April, so he schedule a flower delivery for my bday in July.

FH is very sweet and thoughtful with most of his gifts ..

The first 'real' gift FH got me was for Valentine's Day 2010 .. we had only just started 'dating' a month-and-a -half earlier but he came down to visit from Toronto (it was a redic blizzard and his flight was one of the only ones that wasn't cancelled - so that in itself was amazing!) .. bought me beautiful earrings and a bracelet, along with flowers .. and took me out for dinner in the city. We became 'official' bf/gf that night :)

Also meaningful besides the e-ring was the diamond promise ring he got me on our first anniversary ..

The first gift he gave me was for no reason. He got me a Mets tshirt.

My most treasured gift he gave me was for Xmas one of the things he gave me was a ring that his mother always wore. His mom died when he was younger and they do not have a lot of things from her so that meant alot to me!

The first gift he ever gave was totally a joke gift- we had only started seeing each other little bit before Christemas- so he got me this stocking that said 'Christmas in NY' and had two people ice skating on it LOL- and a winter Yankee hat & a Tshirt for Dave & Busters...there are little stories behind each- but it was the msot random gift I've ever received.

The first gift I ever received from FH was my first Christmas present - a digital camera & a digital photoframe (which he uploaded pictures of us onto).

FH has always been very thoughtful with gifts but the 1st gift he ever got me was on our 1st official date. We had alot of hanging out dates with a bunch of people before that one (both had just gotten out of relationships). He came to get me that night with a single rose & the cutest white teddy bear I have ever seen I realized at that moment he was beyond sweet.

The first gift FH ever gave me was a necklace for the holidays, which I love, but the one I love the best is a stuffed teddy bear he gave me for our first Valentine's Day - I cuddle with it whenever he's not around! It came in handy when we did long-distance for 4 years!!

the first thing FH gave me was a box of gloves because the company's name was shannon and thats my name lol so he took a box from work.

we were only seeing eachother for a few weeks so i thought it was adorable lol

but FH's first christmas gift to me was my star pendant which i feel naked without. i have also been obsessed with stars (even before they were all over the place) and FH went crazy looking for a star necklace for me. i remember going shopping with him to roosevelt feild mall and everytime we would meet up he was outta breath and it was b/c he was running all over the mall in every store on the hunt, now you cant turn around without seeing something stars lol

The first one I can remember is prob the wristlet he gave me for 6 months. I think before that he gave me my perfume for my birthday but we had only been dating a few weeks then so it wasnt nearly as exciting.

He booked plane tickets for xmas one year for key west...that was another goodie....although he made me research and book everything so I still ended up doing all the work. lol

The first real gift he got me was for my birthday in 2010. It was a silver hamsa hand pendant from Israel. It meant a lot, and I wear it often.

hmm the first real gift was after dating for a few months it was before the holidays - we went out to dinner and i forgot to wear a necklace and he noticed, i was so embarassed. then he told me to look under my seat and there was a diamond heart necklace - i was soo happy!

The first real gift he ever gave me was around 5 months dating, it was a claddagh ring. I no longer wear it since getting engaged since it doesnt fit on my right hand.
