Good morning ladies!!!!!!!!

Thank you Megan ~ Watermelon5 for making me BOTW! Heres my FIRST QOTD!!!!!!! Hope you girls enjoy!!!!

Did your FH ask your parents for your hand in marriage?? Or was it a complete surprise to everyone?

FH called my dad and my mom and asked them both! Of course they said yes but FH told me after he was SO nervous to call my dad he must have picked up the phone and hung up 50 times!!! FH also told both of our families so when I called them everyone knew already but me obviously!!!

PS - i HATE Mondays!! UGH Lets hope this week goes quickly

He didn't really ask, but he told my mom he wanted to do it, and knew i wanted my grandmothers engagement stone so i guess kind of!

Nope! He didn't ask permission but that was probably because I had mentioned to him beforehand that I really didn't like that tradition.

I dont really like the tradition either... and didnt want him 'asking' or telling anyone. We actually had an arguement over it unknown to me only a couple days before we got engaged and after he told my parents and brother lol

He went and asked my Dad & Mom in person before proposing. He was very nervous. My Dad's comment was of course but also 'no backsies' so that's been the ongoing family joke.

He didn't ask for permission but my parents knew the moment it happened. I don't really like the tradition either.

He saw my dad in the driveway and said, 'I put a deposit on a ring.'

Ironically, my super grumpy dad was all like, 'You should propose at xmas or maybe new years!!' and started to try and plan the proposal for him.

Yes!!! He asked my parents while I was in the shower or something one night. And then waited over 2 months to propose!! I can't believe everyone was able to keep it a secret hehe.

FH asked my father and was super sweet with it, had my Dad almost in tears. He spoke to my Dad in October and proposed on Christmas Eve.

Yes! FH called both my mom and dad and asked them. I think he asked a few weeks before he actually proposed.

FH did not ask my parents before he proposed. I knew it was coming so I had talked to my parents before. After he proposed we showed both sets of parents then we texted/called all our friends.
