Have you ever asked FH about when he started planning the proposal? How much time did it take him to actually pop the question after he decided to?

FH proposed on 8/1/11 on a trip to Florida. He said he started putting some money away for a ring in January of 2011. He asked my parents and started ring shopping in May! It blows my mind that FH and my entire family knew my life would be changing for 3 months and no one cracked!

I knew FH had been meeting with the guy who designed my ring last summer, when I was sent home sick from work on his day off, and he had to scramble to make up some story about why he wasn't home. Apparently he was planning on proposing on our anniversary, but then we planned a family trip to Disney World, and he changed his mind and did it then so my son was a part of it (my profile pic is a 'before' photo...I was not so composed after lol).

My FH started planning over a year before he actually proposed. He ended up losing his job so he had to hold it off. Everyone knew from the beginning tho that he was planning it. I dk how everyone kept their mouths shut! It ended up being really sweet tho. He did a great job!

Hmmmm am I the only who didnt ask? We kinda said we will do it eventually but not something we are in a rush for. We already live together, have a child, joint checking so its like we have been married for years already.

FH decided to plan last may when I graduated college in May 2011. In November he finally designed and picked up the ring. He decided to ask right before we went to DR (his graduation present to me) in February 2012 which everyone called our pre-honeymoon!

He told my brother he was doing it soon, about 4 months before he did it. He told me he had the ring for a while, but I kept opening my mouth and bothering him so he didn't feel like doing it.
True story though, the day he did it, even like an hour before he did it, he texted my MoH and told her he wasn't going to bc I was pissing him off and ruining it OOOPS!

I never asked him when he began to plan it. I used to always talk about it and he would always say that it's going to happen when I least expect it. So I stopped talking about it.
I know that before he asked me he spoke to my mom and asked her for her blessing. And he also told his parents.

FH told all of his friends and a 2 of my best friends that he was planning to propose while we were on vaca in Vegas. His original plan was to propose to me at the eiffel tower but he is afraid of heights and freaked out while we were up there lol So instead, he proposed to me just before midnight by the water fountain in front of Caesar's Palace.
He told me I almost ruined it when earlier in the night while at an arcade I went to reach in his pocket for our camera and he thought I was going to find the ring lol He said I thought I was going to have to propose in the arcade! Which IMO would have been so cute and hilarious!
