What a rainy day! Hope you girls are all enjoying it. I think it's a perfect movie night!

Todays QOTD is.....

After you got engaged, how long did you wait before starting to plan your big day?

We got engaged in the Dominican Republic, so the week we were there we obviously didn't do anything. When we got home I immediately started looking at/narrowing down RH's online and we went to look at them about 2 weeks later.

We waited almost 2months. I wanted to enjoy being engaged for a little before we started planning.

We waited about 2 weeks before we started researching and visiting RHs. It took us a month after looking to find the perfect RH

We started planning within a few days... I wish I wouldve taken more time to enjoy just being newly engaged.

We waited close to a year before planning anything. I wanted to enjoy being engaged

We took a little over 2 weeks to adjust before doing anything. Then started researching Presidents Week in Feb. We had our deposit on a date about a week or so after that.

The night we got engaged we made out our guest list to see what we had to work with! lol

Soooo we basically didn't wait at all!

Within 2 months we had our RH booked!

A month before we were engaged. He was saving for the ring and trying to come up with a proposal to surprise me. Half our vendors were booked when he popped the question

We got engaged in the middle of August and we booked the RH the beginning of September.

got engaged in december and booked a place in february. found a photographer last month and am now taking a few months off to enjoy the spring/summer.

We got engaged December 17th and signed the contract with our RH exactly a month later on January 17th!

The minute we got engaged, I couldn't wait to start planning!! FH thinks I went a little crazy but my biggest concern was that we have our pick of who we wanted and not miss out on a vendor we love because we didn't start planning quick enough. We have taken a little break in our planning currently because we have some other stuff on our plate right now but next on the hit list are DJ, limos and flowers....and I can't wait!!!

Pretty much as soon as we got home from vaca (when we got engaged) lol...I knew i wanted a winter or spring wedding in 2012 & so planning started like 2 weeks later & has not stopped!

We waited two months. I would have waited long but I wanted to see what the RH's looked like decorated for the holiday's, since we are planning a winter wedding.
