In the past year we saw.. Al Sharpton... sitting plastered against a window in a cigar store right on 5th ave.... trying to get seen much...
We also saw the woman who played May as an old lady in the movie about the girls playing baseball.... All american girls???? I am having a brain fart
We also saw Mandy Patamkim.... Well my FSIL recognized him... I have no idea what he looks like so I can't confirm that it was him... she pointed him out though. I think he was in the princess bride... My mom has his CD...it's bad!

OHHH YEAH... my friend from high school... not anymore.. she is a royal *****... is in the new toyota truck comercial... the one where she is standing in the desert crying about truck bed abuse holding a coffee.. I don't get it..... I was IN LOVE with her brother... He was 'The ONE' when I was 16 Then later she stole my boyfriend... And dated him for like 5 years... can't be too mad... we only dated for like 3 weeks.

The Edge once spilled a drink on me at a crowded bar in Dublin and apologized. He talked to me for like 40 seconds, which for me seemed like a meaningful conversation!

I haven't met anyone famous per say, but I am friends with a character actor that is currently the voice of the Mercedes Benz (blank) unlike any other commercials.

Oh wait, I did meet Pres. Clinton coming out of the 21 Club when I was going to the TV-Radio museum. that was cool, he defintely has this star quality that draws people to him.
Oh and FH and I saw Ann Curry (today Show) shopping with her kids in New Paltz.
I know, mostly lame, FH and I are homebodies now so unless fame comes knocking on our door
I'm jealous of the Gavin Rossdale and Edge stories

I met Anna Quinlen (author) and Katheleen Abernachy, FFC Commissioner
I had celebrity brushes with Sarah Jessica Parker, Candice Bergin, Steve Martin, the Fat Boys (I was in a video back when I was 12!)

I met Julia Roberts when i worked in NY..she lived across the street!
Al Sharpton...twice, lol..once in NY at Tao restaurant, and one in DC when i was eating dinner at an italian restaurant with FH. Pretty funny.
And....because I work at the WB, we had Judge Mathis come to the studio to tape. Would that be considered a brush with fame? He was very nice!!

Just three short weeks ago I was responsible for getting our talent to an event we were doing..
Shanon Elizabeth and Debi Mazar..
They were both very nice- that is after they calmed down cause they were pissed about their transportation from the airport to their hotels.. Shannon is totally anorexic though- gross.
I was at Warner Bros. for a meeting a couple months ago- saw Sela Ward in the commissary.
I was on line next in Daily Soup to that guy from the Princess Bride with the lisp, also Mr. Hall from Clueless.
Ethan Hawke on the street- twice- yum!
Al Franken (twice) , Chris Noth on the subway..
Oh, and me and my friends crashed a SNL after party- and everyone was there- I was like a foot from Queen Latifah- she was the host that week. She really is a beautiful woman.

Okay... here goes...
When I was 16 I won a contest on Z100 and got to meet N Sync.
I met LFO at the Smithaven Mall once (yeah, I was a teeny bopper).
I once pumped gas with Dee Snyder at a Hess Station in Hauppauge
And I've also met Mary Lou Retton (she was endorsing Tyson's Chicken at Smithaven like 10 years ago) And Dominique Dawes talked at freshman orientation at Stonybrook once (my mom works there and snuck me in... I was in high school at the time).
Oh, and Jai Rodriguiez (Queer Eye for the Straight Guy) went to my high school - he graduated when I was a freshman though - but he sang for my chorus, and all the girls fell in love with him. we were very dissapointed when he came back our senior year for Human Rights Week (to singe songs from RENT) and we found out he was gay
ETA: I was also once on an episode of Sally Jesse (as an audience member, not a guest )

When they opened the Bush PResidential Library at A&M I was a student host and ran around with Bernanrd Shaw from CNN and got to meet several of the living presidents as well as Kevin Costner. Even though i think most of his latest movies kinda stink, i loved his earlier ones and he had the most amazing blue eyes!

OK...let's see...I met CHARLIZE THERON at a Third eye Blind concert...My friends brother works for Saturday Night Live and I got to be right next to BON JOVI (my favorite group ever!!)...I said hi to BARBARA WALTERS as she was getting out of a limo in the city...I recently met RACHEL from Road Rules and SYRUS from Real world while they were doing a Rock the Vote campaign at my job....I have met countless athletes while taking my little brother to autograph signings!!
