What's something you and your FH (or DH) had to compromise on regarding the wedding?
FH and I had two completely different ideas for the wedding - he wanted a HUGE wedding with like 200+ guests and 25 people in the bridal party ... i wanted 75 guests with 0 people in the bridal party. We compromised and met in the middle so we're inviting about 150 guests, and 10 people in the BP.

I suppose it was more him than me but he wanted the venue to be a temple on LI and I didn't (I got my way)....but I compromised back by letting him choose the band
OH and I wanted an egalitarian Jewish ceremony and a female rabbi - he didnt want a female rabbi but agreed to the egal ceremony.

I wanted a city wedding- in a loft with a view of the NY skyline. Well, prices and disagreements with FH made that dream impossible. I couldn't believe how much they wanted to charge!
ETA: But I am *very* happy with Jericho Terrace. All those places in the city can't hold a candle to the service and atmosphere at JT.

We both wanted a small beautiful intimate island wedding. Well that went out the window quick! Hahaha grandparents would never go, then never let us live it down..
