I know that as far as myself, I had certain ideas about what I wanted for our wedding when we got engaged. Since then, a few things have changed. So today's question is:
What has changed about your initial wedding 'vision' since you got engaged and started planning?

mine's definitely the dress.
I originally said, 'I'm not going to go crazy over the dress. I'm only wearing it 1 day.'
Then I found a 750 Maggie dress. Then I found a 1700 Pronovias. Then I found a 2500 Sottero & Midgeley...
and NOW I'm drooling over a 3000 Stephen Yearick dress that I'd have to have specifically made for me...and I WANT it so BAD!

Hmmmm honestly nothing has changed too much from the beginning. However, I did always think I would get married on a Saturday, not a Friday. Oh well!

I thought I'd have my reception at a mansion or country club type of setting, but I can't fit 300 people in any of them!!! Or if I could, the dance floor was way too tiny and we're party animals.
Another thing that's surprised me is that my color as of right now is purple/plum, and I never even LIKED the color purple. This came out of left field, but it's just the only color I like for the BM dresses.
I say I'm not going to go nuts over the wedding dress, but I have a feeling that's going to change too!!

We changed the colors a little bit.
I had originally wanted only light pink and light green, but then I fell in love with this bridesmaid dress in Jade.
Had to change it up!

I thought I would be the most nontraditional bride ever!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to have the most modern wedding and a unique venue. After we saw WM we loved it and you totally can't have a modern wedding in that space!!!!!!!!!!!! So I came up with the vintage victorian theme and everything started from there!!!!!!!!! my MOH and I sat and ate dinner at WM one day and began thinking of color schemes that would look fab there so we came up with blush pink ivory and gold. Then came my dress which ironically matched my theme to a TTTTTTTTTTTTT, so weird!!!!!!!!! Once again it was not what I was looking for, but fell in love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hmm, honestly nothing has really changed lol.
The only thing I would say has changed in my initial wedding thinking was that I didn't really care about flowers and wasn't oging to spend a lot...when I went to florist that all changed, and now I'm in love wih them! (and over budget )

Nothing too huge. More people on the guest list than we had originally thought we would be able to have, but this is a good thing. We've pretty much been making it up as we go along.

Well I always pictured myself having a small ceremony on the beach and then an intimate party afterwards with just my closest friends and family.
However....FH and his family had other plans. We are getting married in a church and having a huge reception but it's OK I'm still happy
