QOTD: What annoys you about LIRR?

Since a lot of us commute, I thought this would be a fun topic. I'll start:

-The most obvious: the loud cell phone talkers. I don't care about your gyno appointment lady, shut up!

-The people who sit on the outside of an empty 3 seater just so you're less likely to ask to sit there

-People with earphones on so loud that you can hear their crappy music 5 seats away

-Getting on the train at Penn after a concert/sporting event at MSG. Too many loud drunk people

OH yeah the 5:51 train (to montauk I believe) on a friday ALL that luggage!!!

I'm VERY guilty of putting my stuff on the seat next to me in the rush hours, you want the seat? Ask for it, I do. Sorry guys!

The new trains - double deckers - I bruised the HELL out of my thigh on that thing, why do you need an arm rest in the INSIDE? Ow

New Trains - that stupid up platform. I bang my head now on the luggage rack

New Trains - They sooooo are not as comfy as they look, I can't sleep on them my neck hurts!

ALL trains the window seats (although I prefer them) those things sometimes yank my hair out (screws I guess)

I just LOVE when they tell you WHILE you're on the train that your train will NOT stop at your stop today (great)

-- the smelly food thing used to drive me insane!

-- price vs quality DO NOT Come close to one another!

-- large people who squeeze into the middle of a 3 seater squshing both people on either size

-- recreational rider who complain loudly about the service.....'hey I pay 250 a month and deal with this EVERY day, I dont want to hear from some 17 year old how annoyed she is after she just spent the afternoon shopping!'

Ahhh now I remember why I left and went to work on LI!!!

Have you ever tried to stick anything in the luggage racks on the double deckers???? I think they deliberately designed them for The Littles or something!!!!

And the windows on them suck. Too high to lean your elbow on so that you can support your head and too low to lean your head on!!! So not sleep conducive!!!

They're always freezing and they smell awful!
