I have not been able to shake 'boyfriend' I've been calling him that for that past 11 years- it's hard enough thinking about calling him husband!! I just can't transition myself to fiance...even though everyone 'corrects' me- even VENDORS!
he jokingly calls me Bride-2-be...but I think he just refers to me as Jess to those that know me, or girlfriend if not by my name.
just wondered about the rest of you girls!

Well, I suppose who I am talking to...when I am talking to friends or co-workers, I'll use them both interchangeably. BUT, when I called his ex-girlfriend (who I can't stand ) I use FIANCE!!!!!!!!

I have never called him my boyfriend since the day he puy the ring on my finger as a matter of fact it sounds so weird to me to say boyfriend or even to day when i was your girlfriend - and he never calls me his girlfriend but thats just us

I say Fiance...in the beginning it was def weird even now when I say it I find myself thinking 'Fiance?...whoa I'm getting married!!!???' He ususally introduces me as his Fiance...

I got pretty used to using fiance. It still sounds funny sometimes. When I am talking to someone who knows us I just call him by his name.

Its boyfriend most of the time-or just his name. I have heard him refer to me as his girlfriend and his girl. I think we both feel silly saying the word fiance for some reason! It will be much easier when its wife/husband!
My FH always calls my GF- he doesn't like fiance- but wife is ok with him-
sometimes I do get called finace- b/c of all the money I cost him

Actually, I did everything in my power to not have to refer to him as my boyfriend. This is sad, but I hated the term boyfriend so much that I avoided introducing him to people . So, I was the happiest woman on the planet when we transitioned to the next level. I now ENJOY introducing him as my fiancé .

Hard to shake the boyfriend title after 7 years but recently I find it easier to say fiancee.
