QOTD: Would you rather...

work at a place you love and not get paid that much OR

work at a place you really dont like, and dont get along w/anyone, but get paid really good?

I would rather work at a place I love and not get paid that much. No moany in the world is worth coming to work to deal with aggrivation and heartache.

Right now I am sticking it out at a job I don't really like at all cause I need the $$$ for the wedding - I already told FH after the wedding and after we close on the house I am looking for a new job !

I would much rather work at a place I loved & didn't get paid as much! Remember, if you are miserable at work, you are less productive & plus you need to spend 8+ hours at this place 5 days a week!

Honestly...I would love to get paid really well! At the end of the day, IT IS a JOB after all... you will never get along with EVERYBODY and you will never please everybody...so you have to compromise...

When you are at a place that you do not get along with others it just not good for you personaly

Um, I hate my job, hate everyone here, AND I get paid crap. I'd be able to handle it better if I got paid more $$$$$. Because then I could go home to my plasma tv, plan mini vacations all around the world, with FH, and forget my troubles!

No seriously, it's a hard choice. People worry a lot about money, so it's important to be paid well. But even if it is just a job, I would want at least some fulfillment from it. If I'm getting zero fulfillment from it, then it's not worth it.

The only reason I'm staying where I am is because I'm working towards a PhD and I'd never forgive myself if I left without one.

I left my last job that I totally loved (and I loved the people too!) for a job that pays a lot more ($15k more with two raises a year) and I am so bored now! I have literally half the work, but am making more money - does that make sense? You'd think that would make me happy, but I'm so bored!!! Ugh. Money isn't everything.

im wroking at a job i hate with people i love getting paid top dollar for my job
and im pretty happy so i guess a combination of the two?

Hmmm...If this high paying job is a place that you see yourself at longterm, I would consider keeping the one that pays less b/c that is a long time to be miserable.
