QOTD: How has your image of your wedding changed from when you were a little girl to the reality of 'now'? What did you dream about having as opposed to what you are currently planning?

when i was a kid i wanted everything to be extravagant. I'm very different now!! I want things to be elegant, but simple which is quite different from my mom (causing llots of conflicts btw!!)
I don't really want a princess wedding per se, i just want all my guests to have a good time! No one is going to remember the flowers and BM dresses or the shoes you wear!

I thought I would have a small simple wedding... maybe even elope! That's not happening, lol!

You're not alone!! I never really pictured it either. I actually never thought I'd even get married 'til I started dating FH.
