what church are u getting married at if you are doing a church...i dont like my church..god forgive me...but it doesnt look like a church because of the school that its attached to and i dont want to have it there...im not a big church person and i was going to get married at the rh but my family was not having that....is it difficult to book a church that is not your parish??

We were going to get married at Immaculate Conception in Jamaica Estates. Pretty church and the aisle was a mile long! Problem was that they wouldn't be able to accomodate us on our date.

We are actually getting married in St.Matthias which is not my parish. Sacred Heart is my parish and I am not a fan for my own reasons. I made my communion and was baptized in the church that we are getting married in. Not to mention its BEAUTIFUL and HUGE!!!

If your RC Theres a very pretty church also in bayside... it's called american martyrs and it's a round church with stained glass windows all around. St. Roberts is beautiful too!
