Question

Question

So our e-perty was over 2 months ago. Someone in our BP said they forgot our gift/card at home. Has never brought it up since. I actually saw her this weekend, stopped by her house to pick something up, and nothing. I'm not the type of person to say anything to her. But I am really annoyed. How would you feel?

I would be pissed. However I would not bring it up to her. Now you know. Is she having finacial problems?

No, not really but who doesn't. We bought concert tickets together so I guess she's not that strapped. Who knows??? It's something to keep in the back of my mind.

IMHO I would not bring it up to her. For my bridal shower one of my BM promised to mail my gift to me and up until this day I have not received it and every time I speak to her she keeps promising to send it in the mail. I just simply said to her in a polite manner do not worry about it that is the least as long as you are keeping fine that's all that matters. It really does not bother me at all may be because I did have the attitude that no one is obligated to give me anything. Just leave people to their own conscience.

Re: Question

I did not receive a e gift from my bro and sis n law and I never mentioned it-they both mentioned it to me months after and asked that we be patient with them as cash is tight-but they have been away and they have done major construction on the house-I could careless at this point-I know that they will end up spending alot of cash throughout the next year ion wedding related things.

Maybe she will come cocoa with a gift after all..but I would not mention it first.

I agree the fact that she said that she had a gift for me is what would annoy me, not the factthat she did not give me anything. However Mrs Powell I agree with you leave people to their own conscience

You have to leave people to their own conscience. I am not going to behave as if I am so desperate for a gift I am better than that.

I dont think I would say anything either. We did not have any E-Party so I did not get anything from anyone. I got more Congrats on this web site then I did with my FH's family.

Re: Question

NWR:

I invited a co-worker to my housewarming.. she called me the Saturday BEFORE and told me that she was on her way and that she was stuck in traffic...( she live in SI) and the housewarming was by FH's aunt house in LI.

I was A. it's next week and then she was like are u serious and blah blah blah... so my question was if you were coming like u said you were and couldn't come now on the real date b/c u were sick..... WHERE THE HELL IS MY GIFT A YEAR LATER!!!!!

Then she had the nerve to come to me the following week with my registry in her hand asking me what else I needed off the list!!!!!

Like you said girls leave people with their conscience..... needless to say she will NOT be invited to the wedding!!!!!
