QUESTION

how often do you people clean???

i see pics ppl post on fb and the backround is of a dirty house or a room. it irks me

Not even close to often enough.

we vacuum prob about twice a week .... clean EVERYTHING in the house about once a week (or whenever we have company )

ETA: gotta vacuum that much because my birdy likes making a mess with his bird-food

if ur taking a pic.. pick up your dirty laundry from the flooor

it depends what you mean by clean.

i do not go to sleep until after i finishing cleaning the kitchen & washing all the dishes.

i clean the bathroom, twice a month. do laundry every weekend. vacuum the rugs twice a month. sweep the floor once a week. spot dusting once a week, big, move everything out of the way dusting, once a month.

my kitchen counters have to be clean.. but i NEVER MOP. i hate moping..cuz i dont knwo how.. instead i clean each individual tile on my hands and knees lol

bathroom i clean...except the BATHTUB! theres somethign wrong with the pipes and the water doesnt go down..s o thats FHs job ALL THE WAY. nasty.

bedroom is mine. he gave it to me. he took oevr the 2nd bedroom..and id ont go in there..especially now with 8000 computer parts.

That basically sounds like us too- i do most of the cleaning- I am an obsessed kitchen cleaner- and bathroom except the tub- thats all FH- but everything else I mainly do but FH is so anal that he vaccuums like twice a day-

ughh i hate dirty houses!!!! especially on fb pics, cmon they could crop or something.

I'm a baby and I still live at home ...its worse though...I share a room with my sister (double blush for that).

So the only thing I really try to keep clean is my room...but sometimes my sister's cr@p is all over the place. I'm totally guilty of pics with laundry on the floor lol. I blame my sister.

Can't wait to move into our new apartment at the end of the month!

I'm a neat freak so I spot clean whatever needs it every day but I kick FH out once a week (he goes tot he gym for 3 hour min lol) and do my big cleaning. Then once a month I take on a project ie: bathroom or kitchen cabinets, closets, etc. I rotate those through the year. Yes, I'm out of control. I don't know how I'm going to deal with kids making a mess! Thank goodness my dog has broken me down a bit!

eta: when I was in college I used to put up a cleaning schedule for all the roommates so that everyone kept the place clean. I wouldn't have minded doing it alone but I figured if they had to clean routinely they'd be more inclined not to mess it up to begin with!

I try to convince myself to clean once a week. like the big clean. I never do the spot cleaning - cant be bothered.
I clean everything: vacuum the floor, mop it then go over with a swiffer to make the floor shiny and smell good

I do laundry once in 2 weeks

I said try, b/c lately I have been the laziest ever, so the apt is soooo dirty eventho FH cleaned and there are bags of laundry everywhere that I will fold when I'll come home (I hope)

I would never take a pic of dirty apt tho, I would be too scared my mom will see it LOL

I try to clean up a little here and there everyday so it doesn't pile up. A good clean probably once a week or so.

I hate mopping too! I scrub the kitchen and bathroom floors with a scrub brush on my hands and knees. FH thinks im a psycho.
