my room is dirty!! filled with boxes in the process of moving out!!! of my house!!!!!

I sweep and straighten everyday, but I usually mop and do the big cleaning on Friday evening as soon as I get home from work. It just feels good to sit down and relax in a clean house.

if i didnt have a pack of 13 year olds in my house every weekend i would do that to... but I usually wait till FBIL and his friends are gone to clean... cause its useless when they are there... so Sundays are my cleaning days

I moved back home to save for the wedding, but I will tell you this...

Every morning when I wake up to make a pot of coffee, I clean every counter top with disinfectant and the kitchen table.
Every Saturday morning I vacumm all three floors of the house and I dust. On Sundays, I mops the floors, windex/polish all other surfaces, do laundry and do my bathroom.
My parents love having me home....

I have a little bit of OCD when it comes to cleaning, but I can think of worse habits to have.

ETA: Every Thursday I go to FH's and clean his bedroom and the basement. Can't wait until it is back to just 1 place to clean.

Yuck! i clean 1-2 a week....Major clean up day is the weekends...
but def-if your going to take a pic-clean up your surroundings!!! People just dont care i guess!

i vacuum atleast once a week... bathroom and dusting every week or 2.... its only 2 of us so the bathroom stays pretty clean, but nothing grosses me out more than a dirty bathroom.
i mop only when i see i have to cause that is my least favortive thing to do! can't wait to get my steam mom off my registry!!!!!!!

Bathroom: 2x weekly, floors/tub scrubbed weekly.

Kitchen: Counters/stove cleaned daily, floors 2x weekly.

Living Room: Daily or as needed, dusting/vacuuming 1x weekly.

Bedroom: Bed made everyday, vacuumed weekly, all clutter put away.

Spare room: UGGHHH the bane of my existance. In transition and is basically the 'wedding' room, so I close the door and pray my cleaning mice will do it for me

Cat litter and garbage emptied daily.

Everyday I put away clutter here and there, do anything as needed or if something gets messy.

ughh i hate dirty houses!!!! especially on fb pics, cmon they could crop or something.
i do one big cleaning once a week but clean when i can during the week. i can't live in a messy dirty home

I'm a neat freak so I spot clean whatever needs it every day but I kick FH out once a week (he goes tot he gym for 3 hour min lol) and do my big cleaning. Then once a month I take on a project ie: bathroom or kitchen cabinets, closets, etc. I rotate those through the year. Yes, I'm out of control. I don't know how I'm going to deal with kids making a mess! Thank goodness my dog has broken me down a bit!

eta: when I was in college I used to put up a cleaning schedule for all the roommates so that everyone kept the place clean. I wouldn't have minded doing it alone but I figured if they had to clean routinely they'd be more inclined not to mess it up to begin with!

to answer your question, i can't go to sleep or concentrate on anything if my room is messy

i still live at home though, and between wedding stuff/not having enough room for our presents my stuff is messier than it ever has been my entire life, and i blame my current bought of insomnia on this fact

i cant wait for my apartment

fh is a slob though, and has never cleaned anything, ever. his mother does it-hello new job of mine

It depends on the room.... The office never gets cleaned and has my wedding cr@p everywhere... The main part of the house LR, DR & Kitchen stays pretty clean but I vacuum/dust/wipedown etc on the weekends... the master bath and the half bath get cleaned like every other day and the hallway bath once a week bc no one ever uses it unless we have guests... My bedroom is constantly a disaster, I'm still not completely unpacked from when we moved in, in November.

ETA: After we don't have the wedding to save for I think I'm hiring a cleaning lady. I have zero time for cleaning.

I clean EVERYTHING once a week

vacuum almost everyday (since we have a dog)

clean the bathroom about 2x's a week

straighten up of course everyday

Lately, I have been so bad!! im just lazy or tired. FH is out right now though, and I'm attempting to do a BIG cleaning job tonight and tomorrow morning.

Usually, bathroom 1x a week or every other week. like a big clean. If the sink is dirty, I'll wash it down. but a good scrubbing once a week or every other (FH job).

Laundry every 2 weeks usually. We let it build up because it's expensive (machines downstairs).

Kitchen, I used to try to do every night or 2 days. The floors mopped once a week or every 2 weeks,

Bedroom is always a mess! I straighten it up every couple of weeks.

Dusting 1-2x week
