where did everyone get their slips? I really would like to get mine before I go and try my dress on!

I called them today to check on my dress I was told '5-6 weeks before the wedding'. I then asked can you double check, because my phone's been acting up. Then again told '5-6 weeks before the wedding'.

mine was supposed to be 6 weeks before the wedding and I just got the call at the beginning of the month. My girls dresses still arent in. Your dress will be here dont worry I bet you'll get the call within a week or 2

I'm not wearing one. I really didn't think it was necessary, just extra layers.
Correction, I didn't think it was necessary with my dress. Some girls might need one, although I don't really see why.

I got one from Craiglist for $30, not sure if it's going to work with my dress yet but if not then i'll just re-sell it. They also have cheap ones on Ebay..

if you're wearing a ballgown, it's necessary to wear a slip/petticoat or else the dress just hangs on your body. that goes for some a-line gowns too.
i didn't think it would make a difference either but you wouldn't even believe the difference it makes!
