Question about Bridal Showers

Can you throw your own bridal shower? Or does someone have to throw is on your behalf?

Question about Bridal Showers

For the most part I've seen other people throw them a shower. I know some brides where the mom paid for everything but the bride basically planned everything so depends on how you look at it.

Re: Question about Bridal Showers

I went to a sprinkle (2nd baby shower) where the mom-to-be paid the shower. Her sister sent out the invites.

Question about Bridal Showers

It's usually thrown by someone close to the bride. But I agree, that can be in name only when the bride does most of the work.

Question about Bridal Showers

I did the location search, but my Mother & my MOH are throwing it for me. Other than the date & place, I don't know any other details.
I've only ever heard of other people throwing the bride a shower, but I don't see why you can't throw yourself one.

Question about Bridal Showers

I've never known anyone to do that, but I believe every bride deserves a shower.
