Also I plan on loosing some more weight before the wedding so will that be an issue too? OMG Im so clueless! Also When is it time to go BM shopping?? Wow I cannot believe we are getting married NEXT YEAR

Re: Question about dress shopping
I'm starting to look in January (cause thats the fun stuff I WANT to do!) I don't know when I'll actually buy it though, guess depends on how it goes...
As for my BM's dresses... I'm waiting until the summer, cause half of them live in Philly, and they're all teachers, So it will be easier to do then. (although i'm sure they've been looking at dresses already!)

sadly this is true...sometimes it can take longer! so make sure if you find a dress you love to ask how long it takes to come in!

Re: Question about dress shopping
I feel like I may do it this summer...but hey..things can change...I'm living off this notion that I am going to amazingly lose 40 pounds and then buy a dress

Yeah me too!!! I will probably begin the hunt in the summer and hopefully be able to order one by September. Hey Nina are you buying it in NM or NY?

Re: Question about dress shopping
Hmmm...thats a good question. New Mexico does not have many choices other than David's Bridal, and Demetrios. Which if I find one from there I would probably just get it here so that alterations and all that would be easier. But we don't have Maggie Soterro, Eve of Milady, and Ines DiSanto...all three of which I love..so....I'm thinking while I'm in NY at some point try them on..and If I fall in love I'm willing to buy it in NY. Where do people buy dresses in NY?

Re: Question about dress shopping
Figures. My dream Ines di Santo dress is very expensive...I haven't even told mom yet...she may shard herself if I told her... Thats why I'm thinking of not even trying it on so I won't be heartbroken.... Just going with dressses in the budget. However...I need your opinion
The prices of this dress....If about half of it was what mom wanted to pay..would it pay okay for me to pay the other half? Would that be tacky or....
I don't know..If I try this dress on....and loooove it.....I can't imagine living with out it

I think that is definitely fine. Just tell your mom that is what you'd like to do (but you don't have to do that either).
