Hi, I've just started my hunt for photographers-and I want to check out duet since I've read so many things about them...when I called they seem to be a lot cheaper than any other companies...did this worry anyone else? I love all of the pics I've seen so far and would love to save money with the photo and video...guess I'm just worried that it's too good to be true?

the reason its a lower price is because they opened there business a few years ago verses other companies that are around for a while...

It didn't bother me because you can tell their work is great. The reason their prices are so reasonable is because of low overhead. Their showroon/studio/office is pretty plain- nothing fancy. Its a family run business with 2 teams of photographers and videographers. There have been a bunch of people so far that have used them and had great results. Many more have booked them. Check them out for yourself and make up your own mind.

I agree-check them out for yourself...it's your decision. I plan on going to the office-I have heard so many good things about them!!

I have told people to go see 2 other photographers , and then see Duet. You will then be able to judge for yourself, if there is any difference in quality or style. And then you can decide 'am I willing to pay more for XYZ photographer/videographer? or should i go with Duet?'
For us , we felt Duet was a very good choice. There pictures are very good, with different styles of photography. The video is UNBELEIVABLE. And the price is right.(for us).Plus the owners(Nicole and Eric) are real nice, which is important,in my opinion.

It worried me at first especially b/c I was the first to use them on this site. But i also knew that they were trying to get their name out there. I also felt like 'why does every place charge SO MUCH?'
Check out a few photographers and then go to them. I think you will be pleasantly suprised!

I just bumped the OFFICIAL DUET PHOTOGRAPHY THREAD.
They have a lot of packages but the one that is on that 1st post is $3000 but i think now you get a DVD and 2VHS tapes instead of 3 VHS tapes.
