ok- here it goes- i'll make it as short as possible. my fh has 2 'friends' that have never been supportive of our relationship and even at times while we were dating they tried to sabotage our relationship. now, the thing is- he feels like he should have them as groomsmen based on the past. also- they have not been supportive of him as an individual. the thing is is that they make me so uncomfortable and i do not think that they 'deserve' the honor of bein under the chuppah while we unite our lives (cheesy, i know, but true). so, firends of mine understand both sides and ultimately feel that he should make the decision on who he wants. i, on the other hand, firmly believe that both the guys and girls make OUR bridal party and these 2 guys will make me miserable. it is a lose-lose situation. if they are in it- i am upset, if they are not in it- he is upset. what should we do? as of right now, fh is leaning towards not asking them, but i don't want him to resent me. help, please!!!

Re: question about groomsmen (long)
hmmm... can he have them just be ushers to show people to there seats? if it were me I would say the ultimate decision is upto your fh, However, he should take into consideration that you dont feel comfortable as them being groomsmen...

Re: question about groomsmen (long)
I really see both sides of things too, but I know if I was in your situation I would feel the same way. I think that the most you can do is let your FH know how strongly you feel about it, which you have already done, and then let him make his decision. I agree with you that they shouldnt' be up there, but in the end, it is ultimately his decision....Good luck

If he knows the way you feel, and he still wants them...I'd leave the decision to him. Unless he asked you not to invite certain people, and you agreed.
