We are departing NY on Aug 30, going to Vegas for one night, departing Vegas Aug 31 and arriving Oahu the same day. We will be in Oahu until September 4, then we will be in Maui till Sept. 8, then we will be in Kauai till Sept. 12, and then we will be back to Oahu for one more night before going home!!!

You're getting married the day after me - will you be in Hawaii then too?!?!?!

OMG WOW - what are your plans?

i've been there before so i wanted to stay at a different hotel, and ON the beach, instead of across the street.. and i said i wanted to stay at the hilton on the beach in waikiki.. which is.. the Hilton Hawaiian Village..

But I'm not sure of what else we'd do. We're being so lax about this.

I don't know yet. All i know is most of our time will be spent in Waikiki & Diamond Head.. lol

Ive been there a few times and i would reccomend the Kalia tower over the lagoon tower. The Kalia is much much newer and alot nicer =)
Its a beautiful resort on the beach with lots of shopping, nightly entertainment, and great resturants. You are also walking distance to downtown Oahu and a huge shopping mall. Youre going to have a great time!

Has anyone stayed in the Hilton Hawaiian VIllage in Oahu? My FFILs have been kind enough to let us use their timeshare points to trade over to the HHV. Our choices are the Kalia Tower and the Lagoon Tower. Some people have recommended the Ali'i Tower, but that is not one of our choices b/c their timeshare only encompasses Kalia and Lagoon. Does anyone know the pros and cons of those towers? Thankkkks everyone!

stayed there with my FH when he was stationed out there...you can't go wrong no matter what tower you stay in really...its a great property
